Future of GM Trucks

I don't know if this was already suggested but I'd really like a "tailgate open" indicator on the dash. I have a tonneau cover which makes it impossible to see if the tailgate is open or closed from inside the truck. I'm constantly dropping my tailgate to get tools at work and it's quite easy to jump in the truck, forgetting that it's open.

That would be more useful then adjustable pedals

As I drive around today running errands, id like a transmission that doesn't shift like shit.

Were you eligible for the update they are offering these days?

Push Button Start and Smart Keyless Entry, Adaptive Cruise Control, 360 Degree Camera, Heated and Ventilated Rear Seats, Max Trailering Package available on Denali and High Country.

The push button start and smart keyless entry is a no brainer for SLT and LTZ and higher. My wifes 2008 camry has this.....

How about a button in cab for tailgate lock. and on the key fob and in cab tailgate release.

How about telescoping steering wheel that actually has some range. I have super long legs and I could easily set the seat back far enough to be confortable and then I can't reach the steering wheel.

Also what about cargo lights than can be turned on while in motion. It is nice to be able to see my trailer or load while driving at night. Also it is a good way to flash assh_les running their brights behind you.

The lack of rear vents are stupid too.

What's sad is I'm 50/50 on this stuff. I love a completely decked out truck with so many options it takes a month to figure them out. It also drives the cost of these things through the roof! But, in the spirit of the question.....remote tailgate open would be awesome

I always keep my tailgate locked. A lot of times when I am loading or whatever I leave the truck on. That means I have to go back and shut the truck off to unlock the tailgate. I could keep a spare key but a lock and release button would be nice.

I would also like to see GM offer an "attractive" Baja-style competitor to the Raptor with a 6.2L engine. I'm not a Ford guy, but have to admit that they did a really good job with the Raptor. If I had stupid money, I would buy one as a 2nd truck. If GM made one, they could call it the Baja 500 or something snazzy like that.

I would also like to see GM re-release the Silverado SS with a 6.2L super-charged engine, but much more evil-looking than the previous one. It should have a classic Hot Rod look with a working hood scoop, CAI, after market exhaust, and nice factory tune.

My local Chevy dealer has one of these on the lot. I am sure you guys have read about it, Reaper.

Looks interesting. I'm envisioning one in Satin Black or Desert Tan, with some more appropriate wheels.

The Reaper is about as ugly as some Rams...seriously that front end.

My list.....

Keypad entry ala Ford

Vents for backseat

Bigger tank....come on 90 some lters...

Rear underseat, underfloor storage, and no tranny hump(be nice to have tow rope, battery cables, first aid kit,and tools not flopping around).

Door storage compartments big enough to put something in(roll of duck tape doesn't even fit in back door ones ffs)

Refined trannies.....jesus I'm getting used to the 8 speed but it just shouldn't clunk and bang around like it does

I'd be happy with a storage compartment in corner like the Titan had, everyone I know who had a Titan liked that thing.

Built-in beer coolers.... i mean beverage coolers, in the rear floorboards, like the Ram would be sweet.
