I'm debating which setup I want to go with, and was helping that some of the guys who have a good understanding of offset, tire sizes, etc can help me out. I read all 117 pages of the wheel/tire thread, but it made my head hurt trying to figure out what I need.

My truck is a 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71 Crew Cab with the Standard (6'6") bed sitting on factory 22's (SEY CK156).

I will be installing the Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit when I upgrade the wheels/tires.

I'm set on getting the XD Rockstar II (XD811) wheels in 20x9:

I'll probably get a set of the Toyo Open Country M/T's. Other sets I'm considering are the Nitto Terra Grapplers, and Cooper SST.

Here's where I really need some help:

#1) I'm debating getting the Bushwacker fender flares. If I do, I'd like an offset that helps push the wheel out and make it "flush" with the flares. The XD811's come in a -12 offset which I was thinking would be perfect (based on what I've seen). My question with this setup is: what's the biggest and beefiest tire I can throw on these 20x9's get that won't rub?

#2) If I don't get the flares, then I was thinking I'd go with the +18 offset. It'd be almost flush, correct? Perhaps sticking out just a bit? And again... biggest/beefiest set of tires that won't rub.

In advance, thank you!

Im running a 22x9.5" XD Monster with 285/50-22 G2 terra grappler setup which equals a 33 inch total setup. But I am leveled at 2 inches. with a level you coukd safely run a 275/60-20 or 265/70-20. I cant speak for negative offset wheels. But my + 18 offset is almost exactly flush. See pictures below. By the way PM me if you ever decide to deal your old stock wheels

Helpful information, definitely answers a question about the +18 offset, so thank you.

What's the difference between 275/60R20 and 265/70R20. Is there a general preference between one or the other?

And I will most likely be selling my stock wheels w/ tires (18k miles on them, rotated every oil change at 5k). When I do, I'll be sure to post up!

I like my XDs but my ultimate wheel i want is the exact ones you have ao please message me when u do upgrade.

Btw, i was wrong about the 265 70 20... thats over a 34" tire. So please disregard that. The first number (275) of the tire is the width in mm, the second number (60) is the sidewall height in relation to the width by percentage, and the last number (20) is of course the rim size. Just remember that with the +18 offset, u can run a 33" total height WITH a level. Without, you need to stay around a 31". But check out this link. Awesome tire size calculator here

275/65/20 Toyo Mt's on stock wheels (+27 offset)

A +17 offset will push your tires out 10mm.... 1cm..... Approx .5" over a stock offset.

The smaller fender flares will cover a +17 offset, you will need the bigger fender flares if you want to do an offset closer to 0 or anything negative.

I'll give you advice if I can get those ck156s lol what's your plan on those?

No way man! I got dibs! LOL

Screw getting new wheels. I would keep your stock wheels and wrap those with some 33's. That would be a really clean looking setup.

Anyone got any pics of my wheels (keep in mind, they are) 22's wrapped in 33's?

The only difference is about .5" more sidewall and whatever shoulder blocks are on the tire you choose

These are Nitto 420s street tires but they are 33s

Thanks for that. Not quite the aggressive look I'm going for. Really making me consider 18" wheels instead...

Okay guys, it's official. I've ordered up the 20x9 Rockstar II's in a -12 offset.

Now I just need to know what size tires to wrap them in!! I can't decide lol.

Truck will have a Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit installed... looking at getting the Toyo M/T's. Biggest tire I can go with without rubbing/cutting/modding/pulling-back-liner....... AND GO :D
