Brand had a little impact.

Finding my truck had more. GMC could not find the truck with the options.

I found the truck I wanted on Chevrolet.com. Not sure which I like better.

In 2011, when I bought a new F150 EgoBoost, I liked the interior room, flat floor, dashboard, transmission and overall driving experience much better than the equivalent GM or Dodge. So I went with the Ford.

This time around (2015), the GM interior & dashboard caught up with the Ford, and the driving experience is better, so I went with the Chevy.

Father in law is retired from GM so I get a nice discount without any haggling. Also my last Tahoe I drove 10 years and 200k miles. My boys still drive it today and its still going strong. Love the looks and ride of the Denali. The 6.2 is fun to drive.

Was always a Chevy guy. Stopped by a GMC dealer and they hooked me up on a 2015 GMC SLE. Got me in it for the same price with more options for same price as the Silverado I was looking at. This is my first GMC truck. I really like it,took me a little while to get use to the looks.

I work in the oil fields and trucks take a beating up here. GM trucks seems to be the one who causes less trouble to the company. Personal point of view, coming out of a Ram, the suspension, steering and seats makes it comfy and feels right when driving it. It is nice that every 4x4 with electric shift comes with the "auto" mode which other brands only comes with fully loaded trucks,

For me it's always been Chevy! But buying a brand new truck doesn't come easy for me so it was going to have to be the right one.

I road tested the Ram and F150 and honestly they weren't in the same class as the Silverado when it came to ride quality! I didn't even bother with the toyota.. it's outdated, ugly, bad gas mileage and no jap trucks for me.

The 5.3 has plenty of power and gets good MPG. The overall quality is excellent. I love the looks. I also like the G80. Chevy did a great job on these trucks!

Picked the Chevy over the GMC because I liked the looks a little better. Plus I didn't care for the red lights of the cluster gauge, or the chrome trim on the windows on the Sierra. Both are good trucks.

Prior to my 2014 Silverado I had several Fords, my last being a 2011 F150 Lariat 4x4 with the 5.0L V-8. Liked everything about the truck. Only issue was corrosion on the aluminum hood. Same problem I had on the previous trucks as well as two Expeditions.

Came time for a new truck and the Chevy looked really good. I didn't want the last of that Ford body style and didn't want to wait to be the first year Guinea pig on the all aluminum F150, especially given the corrosion issues on my previous trucks.

Thus far the Chevy has been such a good truck that I recently traded the corroding Expedition EL on a new Yukon XL for my wife.
