Thank you! I'm liking how its turning out, just need to get rid of the chrome and I'll call it good.

I agree with dasimmon. Your truck and trailer look mean and strong. "Getting rid of the chrome" will not necessarily enhance this image, imo. It is only your opinion that matters but I suggest holding on to the chrome parts in case you find the totally monochrome look detracts from the appearance.

After you hit the Florida line, what did you take? 95 or the Fl turnpike?

We are thinking about the same trip next year

We usually continue down 95 until the ft pierce exit and cross over to the fl turnpike since it's only a 1/2 mile from the turnpike. you dont want to go anywhere near fort lauderdale or miami pulling a camper. this was last years trip when we stayed at the first rest stop just across the florida georgia line. it's a nice place to crash with a security patrol, this years trip, we stayed at the kingsland ga KOA since we had the inlaws with us and they needed electric for a sleep apnea machine...plus it was a bit warmer this year.

Dragging our 5000 lbs sealing unit from Vancouver to Regina.

The truck did fine, even through the Rockies.

The only annoying thing was the strong headwind ones I hit the flat lands.

Especially with the little "hoody" on the top of the trailer.

It's like a dresser in a wind channel...lol.
