Afm deactivation and tpms relearn tool ?

Does there happen to be a tool that doesnt cost an arm and a leg that does both, Deactivate the afm and relearn tpms after rotating tires. I dont really need a tuner , but i cant stand the helicopter noise after swapping my muffler out.

My dealer does the relearn for nothing when i swap my winter rims on. Don't know of a tool that does both. If you just want to turn off v4 try the range afm. That is your cheapest option. It is what I use. There are also relearn tools on eBay for about $60 or so.

I have a range unit I can sell you, I'll do $100. Sent it in a few months back to get updated and installed a tuner while it was gone. Haven't even taken it out of its box

Im kinda looking for something that does both , without having to spend hundreds of $. Do any scan tools have the capability of this ? I own a cheap Autel OBD2/EOBD Maxiscan tool that I bought to use on my kids clunkers a few years ago . Im just wondering if those kind of scanners have that capability ?

Scanners do just that, scan for codes. Range AFM for disabling AFM or a tune (tune is much more$$$) and one of those TPMS tools in the links above. Heck, buytrdnckhntr94's used Range module and that $40 TPMS tool and you will be out less than $200.

From what I gather, on a 2014 Ram, they don't have a GM style system which requires resetting during a tire rotation. When you rotate the tires the truck can pick up on the new location after some driving at speeds over 20mph for some distance. A dealer tool is required to program a new replacement sensor however.

Ill get back to you on that module , still trying to find an all in one deal. Not too keen on having to unplug something all the time so my battery wont go dead but if all else fails youll be hearing from me . Thanks

I've never unplugged mine and haven't had a battery problem.

Agreed with above. As long as you drive the truck at least weekly you're fine. I used it for about a year and drive the truck daily, no issues in that time
