So I have a 2014 silverado and going to put in wireless charging.  I ordered the harness from Phil as well as a new console lid.  Lid came in today and have a question, there is a plug on the right hand side of the hinge, does anyone know what this plug is for?

I have a 17 Sierra with wireless charging. Obviously doesn’t charge my iPhone X.

GM offers part# 84526978 - But is that everything? Will I still need the harness here? Thanks!

I have done this mod on my 2016 Denali and it worked great.  Phil do you know if it is the same charging module that is in my 2018 Equinox?  If it is do you have any pigtails available?
