I took everything off, except the painted door ding guards. Those may go as well...20180715_170839.jpeg

Did my tailgate letters this evening. The tape was not easy to remove after three years of sun lol. I’ve debadged before but usually on brand new trucks.

I'm new to debadging, so is there a good "how to" thread on this forum, or should I just trust YouTube?

Mostly just carefully prying off the letters and then it's on to tackling the adhesive, either by careful peeling, or that wheel-thingy?

20lb fishing line to cut the letters off of the adhesive and the wheel to remove the left over adhesive.  My tape was nasty to remove by hand. Took a lot of buffing and goo gone to remove.  I’ll buy the wheel if I do anymore removing.

3M Adhesive Remover.

It’s not cheap, but it works like magic...and smells like cancer LOL
