E85 Power Increase

Since there are some members here with decent knowledge about running E85,  I've got a question.  When towing a trailer of about 5500 lbs total weight, power-wise, would I be better off running E85, or better with 91 octane unleaded ?  My truck still has a stock tuning.
It all comes down to price per mile. Where i am e85 is 1.89, reg is 2.79 93 is around 3.00. I have a 6.0, 87 gets me 16mog on the highway, e85 gets me 13 mpg. E85 burns faster but price per mile is cheaper. Thats why i run it.

If you have a 1500 you will make more hp/tq with E85.  If you have a 2500 you will not.

Download GasBuddy app for your phone and then update prices when you fill up.

Price varies per area.  Around here it is $1.50 gallon for E85.

I had heard or read on one of the tuners sites that the stock calibration does not all 100% WOT. Since our systems are drive by wire I could see this being the case as a way for GM to detune the vehicle for reliability. Supposedly with a tune it allow you to open the throttle fully and thats where some of the HP gains might be had. i wish i could reference this but cant find where I saw it at this time.
