Knock sensors

Stock 02 Silverado 4x4 5.3L. I know folks have moved the knock sensor from under the intake successfully. Has anyone tried running both the sensor leads to one knock sensor ? I am just trying to keep the light off untill I can fix it right. Also has anyone else had trouble with the driver's seat back breaking ?

Just replace 'em.
They ain't expensive.
And it ain't a difficult job.

Is the knock sensor code for the front or rear knock sensor? 

 

The codes are usually triggered by electrical connector corrosion, which may be possible to correct for free and without pulling the intake. 

 

You can also leave the old sensors in place, and easily relocate the knock sensors to an easier to access area. 

 

I have done all of that stuff before with success.
