I went to the GM parts website and found the kit for $1068.38.  But upon reading the info, it states the kit is for the 2020 Silverado 1500 and the 2019 Sierra 1500. States it will not fit the 2019 Silverado 1500. Any thoughts or ideas on this?  And they are offering two kit with different part numbers both for 4wd

this is exactly how they should come from factory......perfect!...not to high or low and very proportionate

so really all you need is a 3.5 lift with coilover up front and 2" block in back, for me I  wouldn't want a strut with clip preloading the spring  with another spacer added also adding even more preload.....seems like too much preload on spring...

I talked to KING yesterday and they make a "trail boss" coilover kit currently to replace ranchos, but idk why you would do that if you have a TB....pay extra for TB and then scrap out a kit you just paid a lot money for. but they do make it....$2500....this is route I am headed I believe...but really would like another inch in front, a UCA will get hair more height supposedly....don't mind a lil bit of rake actually, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 if that's doable....

but your truck looks very "classy" and OEM.....I like that look

common sense says this GM kit will fit models with composite spring they just don't want you to do it, no reason it wont work, your just putting a block in there no different than way it already is.....like someone said just buy a leaf if it concerns you but I cannot see why it wouldn't work.....makes no sense other than GM wants their TB sales

2019 and 2020 haven't changed....maybe just because its different year but truck is same, just get one for your year.....internet can be lousy sometimes....its probably the LT scenario that is limiting the models in 2019

Sorry, don’t want to hijack this thread. Does anyone know if LTZ 3.0 duramax 4x4 can get the 2” lift? I just ordered the truck and the salesman did not know because it was not pulling the lift up on the gm accessory pages. I checked later and it is not pulling the lift up for any config it seems. I found some documents that mention it can not be nstalled on LT or LT 2wd 3.0.

It isn’t a deal breaker for me, but it looks so bad ass. Hopefully with the 2” lift it can fit in 7ft door.

there is 2 kits....one for 2wd and one for 4wd....idk why motor would even matter, I cant see why it would unless there isn't room for some reason

but there are plenty of other options anyway, Eibach has their pro truck sport lift now and just buy block for rear, its essentially same type of kit (longer shocks with adjustable clip up front and your springs or theirs)….cheaper too.....under 1k installed......would imagine ranchos, bilsteins, and eibachs to be very very similar

you have options tho..

At the 2 different Dealers I shopped I could not find a 2020 Trail Boss with 20" tires/wheels that had the features I wanted. They all had 18: tires/wheels.

So I bought a 1500 with the Z71 package in a LTZ and told them to add the Trail boss 2" lift kit.

I am getting added this week about $1725  Parts and labor.

The list of parts you mentioned is what they said they would be replacing.

Thank you New Dude for your comments

Could you post a pic when it’s done?! I have an LTZ Z71 with the factory 20 wheels/tires, and I’m curious how the trail boss kit would look on the LTZ model without an additional level and bigger tires. Super lift also has a pretty sweet kit that comes with 3” lift in the front and 1.5” in the rear, but that would really need bigger tires.

Yes I will, you may need to remind me.  Hope to have installed next week.

Is that the trail boss lift? Did you also add an additional level? I’ve been meaning to call my dealer to see if I they would install the trail boss lift on my LTZ, but use a 1” rear block instead of the 2” block...not sure how they will feel about doing that though...
