HC Color Override

Noobie here.  I’ve had  2002 Avalanche, and now have a 2011 Avalanche.  I’m thinking of replacing it with a 2019 High Country, but want it in Silver Ice Metallic.  That is a standard Silverado color, available on trucks through LTZ, but not on the HC.  Does anyone know of such a “color override” that would allow me to order a HC in Silver Ice Metallic?

Welcome to this forum.  I would simply phone gm customer service and ask.  I suspect they will say no.  Color is higher priority for some of us than others.  I would probably choose a well optioned LTZ over a HC in a color that I don't like.  Try going through the build and price activity with the LTZ option.  You may be able to build a truck that satisfies your needs and wants.

Silver is not available on a Denali either.

For $70k, you should be able to order any color you want including PINK !

I don't think you can.  Have you seen satin steel?  More of a steel color than silver.  Looks really nice and might fit the bill.  Look up the initial lanch pictures of the Silverado, that truck was satin steel.

Satin Steel seems to be more of a Gray in color.

It is an existing color on some Colorado and Camaros, among other GM vehicles.
