I like the idea but I don’t like losing the auto high beams. I’m gonna try to figure a way to do it and keep the autoHB.

That setup allows for auto high beams... I wouldn’t have done it if it didn’t.

Quarantined means, work on the truck, lol...

Installed:

Auto Stop Eliminator - sooooo worth the money!

Jumper to allow the fog lights on with the headlights - that was really bothering me.

Blackened all the badging - still have to do the front but I ordered black and white gel coated American Flag emblems to cover the red, so waiting on that to arrive. (See pics of other emblems)

Installed grip tape on the awesome off-road side steps. (See pics)

So if I keep my lights set to “auto” will this kit allow the fogs to come on with the auto lowbeams?

What? I thought it wouldn’t because they don’t work when the fog lights are on. Do you get a fog light indicator on the dash when they’re on?

I believe so, but to be honest I’d have to check next time I’m driving at night. Never really payed attention to the dash lights because I have heads up display so no need really lol. Before you ask, yes I do know that the lights work as stated... fogs are always on when the headlights are on and stay on when the auto high beams activate.

You should watch the videos on the Boost site that I posted... they have great info on this easy little mod.

Oh this mod is for fog lights on while high beams are on. I had it confused for fog lights on without having to push the button every time you drive it.

No, you’re still confused... this mod is for having the fog lights on every time the lights are on. And they stay on when the high beams go on with auto high beams.

Yeah I still am. How does it achieve that if you’re connecting the high beam trigger wire to the fog light trigger wire? How does that automatically enable fog lights in low beam without pushing the button?

I saw their video and and read the question as to whether “intellibeam” still works but I can’t process it knowing how this jumper works.

If you could verify that when your fog lights are on the “A” high beam is also on at night, I’d appreciate it.

Go to the same site as above but click on the all lights mod. under chevy/gmc. This will not effect the auto high beam. There are two different mods. One is for fogs on all the time, the other one is for fogs on any time the fog light switch is activated or when you select high beams. The lows will also come on when you select high beams.

Got it. Just picked up a diode at RadioShack (if you can believe that). I’ll be trying it today.

Got the dash cam installed today. Tapped into the heated steering wheel fuse and ran wire through the weather stripping and above the a pillar trim.

So, I just watched this install video and looking at whats included with the kit...any reason why I can't scrounge up a few pieces from inside my garage and make this myself? Its basically 2 quick splice connectors and 1 wire to connect the wires off the 2 identified pins? Anything I'm missing here?
