What Have You Done With Your T1 Today ?????

So, I just watched this install video and looking at whats included with the kit...any reason why I can't scrounge up a few pieces from inside my garage and make this myself? Its basically 2 quick splice connectors and 1 wire to connect the wires off the 2 identified pins? Anything I'm missing here?

 

A diode to prevent the fog lights from feeding the parking lights (or high beams depending on which video you watched). No wire needed. If you’ve got a local RadioShack that’s still in business this mod will cost you about $5 unless you already have those quick connect things. The diodes are $1.50 for 2.

Hooked up and pulled a trailer for the first time. Getting it registered so I can pull my side by side around.

On that note: anyone else’s blind spot warning go off randomly while you’re towing AND THE TRUCK KNOWS THERES A TRAILER ATTACHED?

I think the issue was hooking it up while the truck was running. I power cycled it and got all kinds of “sensor disabled” warnings and a check engine light. Of course.
