Installed the rear fender well covers.  Easy install and looks better, though I doubt the covers do much for protection.

No stock 18s and it’s the trail boss already comes with 2 inch lift from factory

Installed Go Rhino RB20s...installed them backwards with the wider part at the rear.

Earlier in  the day, had suntek protection film installed on the front bumper and 18" on the front hood.

Tried that here in Iowa with my eye doctor. He told me it doesn't work. Wish it did, but the law is the law. They can void it whether he signs it or not.

Here in Michigan, to our have to take the prescription in and have a medical endorsement put on your license, like they do for prescription lenses. Then you can't really legally drive a vehicle that is not tinted.

My tints have been illegal when I lived in Chicago suburbs, Chicago, and Louisville and I have never had an issue.  20% all the way around with a front strip on the last 5 vehicles my wife and I have owned.  The BMW dealer even put the illegal 20% on mine before I picked it up.

When I lived in South Dakota,  Nebraska,  and Las Vegas...all my vehicles were 5% all the way around and never had a issue.  Iowa though has very strict tint laws.  Not supposed to have anything on front windows (70%).  So when I moved here I got 2 tickets for 5% and 1 ticket for 20%.  $500 later I said heck with it and put 30% on fronts and they haven't bothered me yet.  U can see into it a little and they dont mind it.   I mainly want it for heat rejection.  It's amazing how much heat tint keeps out

Not telling anybody what they can or can't do to their truck. Just comparing to another states law. Somebody unlucky enough to get picked out of the crowd, this'll be what they get told.

Just coming from my tint shop where I just got mine done, the rep stated it's not the % that reduces the temperature it's the quality of the product. He stated that putting even a 70% XPEL PLUS that has a 98% reduction in heat will reduce the temperature dramatically. So for those states that are very strict on tint laws, there are still options for heat reduction without having to go without tint. I personally like the privacy and went 5% on the back three, legal driver and passenger, and then 70% windshield with 5% strip.

You are correct. My buddy owns a tint shop. It always amazes me how he puts it on without any hairs, dirt, or blemishes in it.  He is truly a master at his profession.

And front windshields are illegal in any state no matter what percent you put on it.  I used to put 30% on mine.  You could stand in front of the hood and not see in.  it was awesome

Post a pic of your tinted rig.  Would live to see it...congrats.

Utah allows 70% on the windshield, and honestly it looks like a clear sticker on it, no color whatsoever.

Joining the tint conversation...I put 15% on front to match the back and 50% on windshield. It’s fantastic in the sun and heat, and I love the privacy.   The downside....it’s dark as hell without the sun.  Country roads and early morning boat ramps can be sketchy.  Nothing a floodlight can’t remedy.
