Haven’t seen too many long box models in the crew cabs. Love your wheel choice. Any clearance issues or rubbing? Thanks! Haha and no I haven’t seen many at all which I love. I also haven’t had any issues with rubbing at all. They fit great!
RVR2MTN Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Here’s my 2019 SLT 4x4. In the front I installed a set of AT4 front struts that I bought locally from a guy on offer up. In the back I went with a 2” block. Tires are Nitto Terra Grappler 285/65/20 on stock 20” wheels.

So you essentially have an AT4 height suspension, without level. Any rubbing with the 285/65/20?

jwilso98 Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Hey guys, new to the forum. I'm getting my AT4 today and already ordered the motofab 1.5" level and going to get some 22" GMC replica wheels to put on. Will I be okay with a 35x12.50x22 tire? The offset on the wheels will be +24 which is pretty close to the factory I think. 1

How far do the tires stick out from the fenders? I like these wheels and I am considering going with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in a 295/65 (34x11.5) or 35x11.5 so that I won't need to go higher than a 1.5" Motofab lift. I believe that the offset and the 12.5" width would cause rubbing and require a bigger lift and possible major trimming.

The ride has not changed, and the truck is perfectly level. I am very impressed with the upper ball joint and CV angles. More pics to follow. Edited July 28, 2019 by thsoccer3 2

thsoccer3 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 (edited) I am contemplating adding BORA hub centric wheel spacers for a slightly more aggressive look only. I only want to space a little, as I do not want rock chips on the rocker panel and lower doors. I also do not want to cut or modify factory lugs. Because of this, I am interested in a hub-centric spacer that only fits over the factory lug without providing new lugs. I know my needed wheel spacer specifications are as follows: 6 x 139.7 pattern 78.1mm hub 106mm bore This raises a few questions in which I seek your expert opinion. 1. Does only adding spacers without any additional changes require a front-end alignment? 2. Do you know the maximum distance spacer I can safely add utilizing the factory lugs with the OEM wheel? 3. I have no rubbing; they are for looks only. On factory lugs, I am assuming it would be close to a 0.500" maximum. Would the minimal spacer even be noticeable (worth it)? Mountain boy Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I am about to jump in on new 20 inch wheels the AT4 has a 2 (I think ) maybe 4 piston caliper with a ridge down the middle of the outside screws with getting wheels.

I had no rubbing initially, but after things settled I had a pretty annoying rub in reverse at about 3/4 lock. There is a little flange where the lower bummer connects to the air damn, I trimmed that off and the problem was solved. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
