I realized that the adaptive cruise is great for stop and go traffic where I no longer have to worry about the engine shutting off when it auto stops behind a vehicle. I also realized that I dont have the hold the brake as the vehicle is doing it for me, really makes stop and go with stop start actually bearable. Use the auto stop at your own discretion, you keep your foot close to the brake pedal when you are letting the machine do its thing.

I turned my ACC off because it seemed to act wonky for cars turning way in front of me. Like, a car would slow down and turn several hundred feet ahead of me, they’d make their turn and then my truck would jam the brake when they were already clear of the road. Would also randomly slow down. Really frustrating. Also ACC doesn’t like direct sunlight going up a hill. Mine would disable on every sunny morning commute.

It’s great for interstate cruising though.

First post here. Great nuggets posted, I read through the entire thread.

One thing I noticed on my ‘19 LTZ - it’s more of a why this but not that instance - is album artwork is displayed at the track level on the center stack when using Apple Car Play, but not when playing files from a usb drive, despite album art being in the ID3 tags.

Guess it’s some sorta safety feature.

I believe it has to do with copyright infringement laws. Apple Music has rights to the album cover artwork but Chevy does not. When playing music through the Apple CarPlay app it would be legal but not through Chevy’s infotainment system. I could be wrong.

Thanks, figured it was for either safety or legal reasons. I was hoping that Gracenote would attach its album artwork to the music as it indexed the files. Surely they can do it from a legal perspective.

Kind of a bummer to know my '19 Silverado can't accommodate art from a USB but my '11 BMW can.

This is the standard view yes. I don’t have the max trailer package either. If you have the extra sensors I would think your truck has the package. Think it is called the pro trailer package or something like that. Really enjoying it so far! Only wish it could handle more trailers!

Wait.  Is this why I found 4 TPMS in my 2019 Sierra glovebox that I bought a month ago?  To install them in a trailer?

Thanks.  May end up with a trailer some day or may need to replace at some point when I do tires on the truck, so will prob just hold onto them...

Thats a pretty cool feature in my opinion...  My trailer doesn't have TPMS sensors, do you have to get certain ones to sync to the truck?

My first post here.?

Just bought a 2020 and needed to hard wire my radar detector. Right (PS) side of dash has a fuse block. Found several 1/4" spade type male connectors here.. Most were 12Volt's DC(+) constant battery powered, but found one that was ignition controlled. Used a push on 1/4" female insulated connector with inline fuse (+) and grounded (-) to the metal support brace that was there and now my radar detector turns on only when the truck is running.Tucked the wire up into front of headliner and down right (PS) A-Pillar.?

Need more info haha

Just got my 2020 LTZ CC, and noticed that there was a 'button' on the back of power running boards, that when tapped, shifts the board back to a rear position that makes a step to reach into the front part of the bed. Very cool and neat feature if you ask me!

Good morning. New owner of a Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab short box. I’ve only had it for 2 weeks. So I’m still discovering how freakin awesome this truck is. But so far. The seat cooling feature is absolutely amazing. Especially when it’s 90 degrees outside. And I absolutely love the led headlights. Those things are really bright.

Reading through the owners manual about a month go I found out about "modes". "Sport", L8 is quite the nice performance setting. Use it all the time unless on the interstate. I purchased a 'Range" device and didn't bother to install it.
