I had a Gibson on my '13 6.2l and it was a nice sound. Definitely not loud but gave it a nice throaty sound, no drone on the highway at all.

Also, auto anything has this for $493.00 if you want it cheaper.

I dont know much about Gibson, but looking at the youtube videos, it seems pretty quiet, better than stock, but not by much.  Just depends on what kind of sound you want.  But for the price you cant beat it.  Although I think I am leaning toward the flowmaster super 44, muffler is only $100 plus cost to install it.  I may eventually redo all the pipe for 3" and get rid of the screen pipe resonator to make it louder.  but to save money up front might just swap out the muffler.  The 44 has a nice deep tone to it, makes it sound like a real v8 truck.

isn't there a factory option for some cat-backs on the AT4?  I thought they were Gibson .. shouldn't be hard to find someone on here with that from the factory.   There was a least one on the lot the other day when I was shopping, I drove one in fact.

I have the factory cat back on my AT4, but it’s still very mild.  GM has a Performance exhaust “upgrade”, but I haven’t heard what that sounds like.  I want to upgrade mine to either GM, Borla or Corsa.  Borla is not showing anything on their website yet for the 2019’s.

You either have the stock exhaust, or the GM performance cat back. The GM cat back can be ordered from the factory in the performance package with CAI, or dealer installed. Since you say mild, you probably have just the stock exhaust which is basically silent.

Corsa has one for the 5.3. Neither Borla or Corsa have anything yet for the 6.2. There are lots of vids on YouTube of the GM catback. I have it and love it. It’s actually really loud for a “factory part.” Supposedly it’s made by Borla but it’s not branded anywhere.

You are correct.  I mis-spoke.  I have the factory dual exhaust.  Should not have stated cat back...

Gibson is a great brand.  Surprised they were first to market.

Im a Cosra guy, but am planning on going Borla as I need a quieter exhaust as I will probably upset the wife if I wake the kids up every time I get called to work in the middle of the night.

Whichever one I end up with, my plan is to get it on the Dyno at a Local GM performance shop. Base Run, then with their new intake for our trucks, and then with intake and exhaust.

I have the ‘19 Sierra Black Widow. They don’t tell you the performance exhaust that comes on it. I’m being told that it’s a Gibson exhaust. Does anyone have any knowledge on this type of exhaust or is it comparable to the Borla attack?

I saw a 19 Silverado SCA Black Widow edition at a local dealership and it had a Gibson exhaust on it. The name was on the muffler.

Just listened to a Black Widow with the Gibson Exhaust at my local dealer too. Sounds pretty good. Anyone know if there's any interior drone on these? looks like the website acknowledges that there is some.

I have had Gibson exhaust on previous trucks and they did not drone. I cant say for sure they were 100% drone free but they are not known for drone. They are a pretty tame exhaust. They did make a super truck exhaust that exited before the rear wheels that was louder and had some drone but their full length exhaust is much quieter. I have not heard a system on a T1 truck yet but I would assume they are similar to the previous yrs.

The Gibson exhausts are pretty tame. I didn't have done on the single side exhaust and I've been in trucks with their dual exhaust. No drone. Some guys will think it's a bit too mild though.
