Setting of Lo, blower all the way up, seems to take forever to cool off the truck. Even after airing it out. I’m only in Wisconsin too, what about people in truly warm states?

My Tacoma would get so cold you could see your breath.

Alabama here. Factory tint and has been 100 in the shade recently.AC in my Custom double cab is amazing. May be the coldest system I have ever had in a vehicle.

I agree. My '19 is colder than my '16.  Those who are wondering about vent temp, invest in an A/C thermometer. That tells the story of how well your system is working.

Two words, sun shade.  Also preserves your dash.

I've also noticed, and this is kind cool I think, that if your making a hands free call through the truck blue tooth the AC blower slows down so you can hear and the truck mics hear you.  That function would definately affect cooling off a hot truck. (assuming you have the dual zone climate).

Getting the windows tinted with a film that's designed to reject infrared energy helps a lot with keeping temperatures down and helping the AC to get the cab cooled faster. Ceramic tint is a popular one. I think my 2014 had a little more cooling power but as others have pointed out, the rear vents are pulling some of that cool air from the front vents in the 2019's. If nobody is back there, you could close the rear vents. That will give the front vents a little more flow. Also found that cracking open the rear sliding window helps pull some of the hot air out until the AC gets going.

Pro tip: A few minutes before you're ready to jump in the truck, you can roll all the windows down on the truck.

(1) Press [Unlock]

(2) Release

(3) Press [Unlock] again and hold it for 3-4 seconds.

Do it right and all four windows will roll down to help get as much heat out as possible.

Explain (2) release . I cant get this to work on my 19 custom trail boss

I'm assuming it's not an option on the custom level trucks.

Living in Phoenix where 100 can seem cool, I can tell you having a sunshade will do you wonders. That will aid in cooling the truck immensely.

The AC in my wife's '17 RX350 seems to be more challenged in the Arizona heat.

I'm not sure if the feature is on the Custom or not, but it's off by default so you may just need to turn it on. In the Infotainment system. I don't have the exact steps in front of me, look for a Remote Window Down feature or something like that. I know it's available in my RST, I'm not sure which trim level it starts at.

My brother is on Ram no. 6. An 95 big daddy 5.9 2 door. Next up diesel modified banks 6 gun. Then 3 hemis. The latest  brand new 21. I had 3 in that time. His shop foreman 2 in the last five years. I could go on. We live in south Texas. Never an AC cooling problem. A problem like that here wouldn’t stand. Never.
