Running a 20x10 will be different. A 20x9 with a +12 offset seems a bit pushed inside (positive pushes the wheel closer inward) but the backspacing may play a factor here with the wheel design. A 285/55/20 should fit a stock GM 20 inch wheel so what you are asking for should work in theory.

A 285/60 should fit just fine with either wheel size. A 285/60 is about a 33.5 x 11 and a 285/55 is 32.3 x 11. I would personally run the 285/60 as its only .5 inch taller than stock whereas the 285/55 is nearly an inch shorter. That 285/60 under load will probably sit at about 33 inches on the truck. The 285/55 under load will be less than 32 inches and look small on the truck/wheel plus will cause the speed to be off more.

I posted pictures on an earlier date but I got new tires.  2019 RST, 2 inch level, with Black Rhino Apache 18x9 and Cooper AT3 XLT 285/65-18.

295/60/20 Vision Spyder 20x9 zero offset.    Funny there's no rubbing or trimming needed? ??

Just went through the whole thread and I think I know what will fit.  Just want to throw the question out to the experts on here.  I have a 2020 Trail Boss with mud flaps removed and Lund fender flares, they add about 3/4" to the fenders.  The stock 18's now sit back about 1 1/2" from the outside of the flares.  I want to run a 295/60/20 (34"x11.5") tire, I have the MotoFab 1" level but don't want to put it on unless I have to.  What offset on a 20x10 will fit without rubbing?  I'm thinking a 0 offset should push the outside out 1.5", am I right?

If I change out to a 305/55/20 Nitto that will drop this to 89lbs so only a 4lb increase over stock but a 15lb difference with my current setup. I must have mixed up one of the tires when I was originally researching all of this as I was looking at a ton of different combinations. I also measured the current amount of space between the current 295/60 tire (runs at 33.9 x 11.77 width per Nitto) and my UCA and its right about 1.75 inches on each side and that was measuring off of the raised tread blocks. The 305/55 runs at 33.2 x 12.44 wide on a 9.5 inch wheel which I think will settle more into a 12.25 on a 9 inch wheel plus they are a bit shorter. Should be plenty of room and I have already done a bit of mud flap trimming to better accommodate the 34 inch tires on there now. Needless to say I went ahead and ordered the 305/55/20 Nittos today with the shop I use agreeing to buy my originals back at a decent price as they only have about 1,500 miles on them. I wont have time to get this done until the end of the week at the earliest but will report back once its done. 

Had the 305/55/20 ridge grapplers installed last week. Ride is a ton better than it was with the 295/60 E load rated ridge grapplers. The 305s are D load rated vs the OEM C load rated so they are still a bit stiffer than OEM but still the 305s are a 4 ply tire and softer overall. The visual difference on the truck is so small that I cant even tell the difference so didnt bother taking more pictures. I will say that even with some minor trimming of the mud flaps, the 295/60 had some minor rubbing at full lock. There is 0 rubbing now with the 305s. Even though the the 305s are 1 inch wider (11.5 vs. 12.5) on a 20x9 they are right about 12 wide. Im guessing that on a 20x10 they would be closer to the 12.5. With this change my speedo is also back to normal (was off by 2-3 mph depending upon speed) and I removed 60 lbs of rotating mass (15 per wheel/tire). This seems to be the sweet spot for my truck now so hopefully others with a Denali who are contemplating doing something like this will benefit from this info.

Mudflap bracket removal 

Front fender liner plastic removed and zip tied away from the tire.

Lots of trimming on the mudflap and cut the bottom screw hole off the metal part of the fender. Bolted the mud flap back through the furthest hole for the bracket and gave me quite a bit of room with stock look.

Rides awesome and looks awesome!

2020 Sierra Elevation 2” level....what’s the biggest tire with zero trimming? Most likely Ridge Grapplers on 20 inch stock wheels, and/or 18 inch that I would potentially get. After looking through pictures, I like the look of more tire.

 

There are so many variations, Trail Boss, AT4, lifts, levels, stock, rim size...on and on haha.

      Based on what I can tell, yes.   As for updating it, its a mixed bag.  Updates do fix a lot of issues, but occasionally can create some oddities.  They do more good than harm though overall.     Here's what the most current one does and a  V171 Improvements Important: Improvements will vary by model, build configuration, system, and sales region. Not all vehicles have all features. OnStar and Wi-Fi may not work after remote start CarPlay may not automatically reconnect Part of the Driver Attention messaging screen may be in English even though the language is set to something else XM may not work After a dead 12V the radio may set to Arabic at each startup Bluetooth contacts might not be able to sync with the vehicle During an OTA the 12V battery may drain Customer might see a screen telling them to return to the dealer After changing the Wi-Fi SSID or password a device may not disconnect If a device is connected on the 2.4Ghz band, nothing will connect to the 5Ghz one, which could show as slow Wi-Fi speeds Customers might have noticed Wi-Fi dropping in certain areas and reconnecting later Customer might see the top of the screen blinking during Android Auto Android Auto may not connect CarPlay audio might momentarily cut out The "Add Phone" button may be grayed out The radio may not start up   V167 Most Notable Improvements:   Outside Air Temperature is incorrect. -You may see a popup message for Engine Shift. (Corvette Only) After changing the exhaust sound they get a popup that "mode change not applied", even though it was. -When changing volume, the volume bar is for Traffic instead of Audio. -(Corvette Only) Improvements to the placement of buttons and text. -If the customer receives the message "Apple CarPlay Could not connect", the cursor might move in the opposite direction than expected when using the control knob. -Android Auto automatically starts playing their music, even though they have turned that off in settings. -Intermittently they have a red OnStar LED with no OnStar function and/or no audio. -The minimum length of the Wi-Fi password was increased to 12 characters. -The popup message "Driver Attention Check, check your mirrors or Super Cruise will shut down" may not have come up on the display when it should have. -Startup animation added for 20th anniversary of the V-Series on Cadillacs. -The Navigation app received location improvements when going under long underpasses. -In the Navigation app there are filters for charging points that the vehicle cannot use.   V164 Most Notable Improvements Most notable improvements contained in this release may include: Apps Intermittently, an “SD Card Removed” message will pop up in the Navigation app. While in the audio app, the radio may stop working. Trailer Tire Pressure sensors may not be learned in the Trailer app. Not being able to return to the home screen while in the Camera app. After an ignition cycle, the radio might go to a black screen or stop working if using Sirius XM. Spotify icon truncated on Audio app.   SXM When changing power modes with the ignition switch, the HVAC pop up might appear. During startup, the radio will show the brand splash screen then go blank. When plugging in the vehicle, the display might show “Now” instead of “Charging Upon Plug In.” Instrument Cluster Voice recognition can be started while on an OnStar or phone call. When downloading contacts, there is a progress bar and circles on the Recents page of the cluster. The temperature on the cluster and the display may be different. After receiving and ending a call on the secondary paired phone, the cluster may get stuck on the phone menu. Bluetooth Intermittent Bluetooth connection loss.

      Front End Rattle

      Looking for help troubleshooting a metallic like front end rattle. Figured I’d see if anyone had thoughts before I schedule an appointment with the dealer.   The rattle is fairly loud and occurs primarily when the front driver side wheel hits a bump, even fairly minor road seams. Sometimes does it when the passenger hits a bump but I don’t believe when the rear hits. Rattle still occurs when foot is pressing brake peddle so I think that rules out the caliper rattle I’ve read about. I’ve also checked the running boards and they are tight.   Most noticeable at slow speeds.    Any insight is appreciated.

      We try to make cruise the coast. It’s where our favorite casino is. I only want to spectate. Never took a car. Always had one to take. I belonged to a club once. Even when I used to drag raced. It was during test and tune. Probably because I’m not a night owl, party person.

      Good looking Olds, and TRX!   I haven't been into car shows either. I'm probably not a convert but I did push myself this year to attend a few select events to challenge some assumptions and try to experience car-based social clubs in a different way. I joined up with the local Hagerty group for some cars/coffee events, group drives. A month ago I showed my '94 Camaro I rescued last fall at Radwood. Had a good time, but, there was some sitting around with the car and that's the part of shows I don't enjoy as much. I prefer to be a spectator, walk the show, grab a burger, go home.   Radwood was the only era-limited event, but where it had strict model year limitations, it made it up in variety. Having Jason Camissa there was also a hoot.   Where I see old 50's car shows, doo-wop and winga dinga music stuff fading out, same with "only" vintage muscle clubs, it seems to be the activity-based clubs/events which are gaining strong popularity. Places where all cars and interests come together.
