I'm completely happy with my Diamondback HD.  The tailgate seals quite well; I don't get any water in the bed--even at the car wash.  It should be quite easy to drive with the back section open, since the gas springs can be easily disconnected, allowing the section to fold 180 degrees and lie flat.  I would probably tie it down using a few of the cleats if I were traveling like that.

I had these pedals custom made probably 1 1/2 months before I even had the truck haha, finally installed them today. This is my third set of these custom pedals, they’ll do whatever you want, great company (Ultimate Pedals) !!

Installed Husky Weatherbeater floor mats front and back. Overall the fit seems alright. I think the Weathertechs in my last truck fit a little better...hoping they relax a little after awhile.

i bought Huskys for suv and weathertechs quality has gone down the tube i last 5-10 yrs. the factory ones though from GM go alll the way and cover the carpet now - way better in my opinion . my 09 duramax - everytime i went to farm- i had to clean the mud off carpet between mat . But i will buy Husky over Weathertech any day

Bought weathertechs 5 years ago for my previous truck, the material wore away and exposed plastic after 3-4 years of use. The OEM ones look really nice now, but I got the husky fronts and back for $80 and I couldn't pass that up.

I have question

 

is there anyway to change offset of the pedal?....meaning how far away or close to driver they are, especially the brake as it seems it would be easiest....on my Toyota the gas and brake pedal were only maybe 1inch diferrence but on silverados they are like 3 or 4 inches.....I cant seem to get comfy position with both pedals.....if I can get brake pedal closer to floorboard by an inch or so that would be great....or raise the gas closer to me but seems brake would be easier

 

my first Silverado so something that annoys me.....I have to lift my foot completely off gas to hit brake where my Toyota I would just rotate my foot....

 

EDIT: that company does make an extension kit so gas pedal would be easier to modify than brake.....says up to 2.25" with aftermarket spacers and up to 1" with their kit.....

 

I never would have found these guys if you didn't mention it,  thnx Jaime

No problem! Sounds like you answered your own question :) but yes they do have options!

Keep in mind these are fully custom, so don’t just look at what you see on their site. If you want the gas pedal extended 1.3542” to the left or the brake pedal extended 20mm to the right, they’ll do that for you!

And reasonable prices too considering it’s custom and not a part of the shelf!

Like mine for example, I wanted the high country logo engraved on the brake pedal, I sent him a photo , he designed the mockup and sent me a photo for my approval, and he added it engraved for an extra $50 or so.

yeah that's awesome.....very reasonable, you can see all the holes for mounting options...just have the front to back offset issue

I put a deposit down on my 2020 black on black 2500 turbo diesel yesterday. They are building it for me now with a 5 inch Rough Country lift, Fuel Coupler wheels, 37" Nitro's and the Amp XL powered boards with the extra 3 inch drop. This is my second Denali, first was a 16 1500 with the 6.2L. I need to figure out my light bar options as well as an air horn, doing 25% tint all arround with 50% on the entire windshield. I'll post pics as soon as I get her [emoji120]

Picked up a 2500hd with a 6.6 gas motor monday, got home just before some severe storms hit. Turned the bars up about 3 turns each(1 1/4” per side) and had 35x12.50 Toyo RT’s mounted today. It still has a slight rake to the rear, but once I get my pack rat, montezuma, and air compressor in the bed it will sit level. ea25c40a1b3ea444e49c745e9c869e9e.jpg

    • Have considered installing a DC to DC charger in your camper to replace your isolator?  
    • Common failure.  You need to replace the fuel door housing.   The painted cover transfers over to the new housing.  To remove the old one there is 4 spots where you poke the plastic to release it.  
    • No such thing as regenerative braking on a pure ICE vehicle.     Regenerative braking is the re-capture of energy from electric motors and stores it in the battery pack.  So hybrids, PHEV and EVs have regenerative braking.     What you are seeing is the charging system changing modes is all.  Its likely entering charge mode for some sort of reason is all.  All of the charging modes will be listed below.   As for L10 vs D.  L10 turns off automatic grade braking.  L10 puts you in control of grade downshifts where in D it will automatically do it based on brake pedal position and other factors.  Otherwise L10 and D drive exactly the same aside from that one aspect.    Battery Sulfation Mode The BCM will enter this mode when the interpreted Generator output voltage is less than 13.2 V for 45 minutes. When this condition exists the BCM will enter Charge Mode for 2–3 minutes. The BCM will then determine which mode to enter depending on voltage requirements.   Charge Mode The BCM will enter Charge Mode when ever one of the following conditions are met:   Windshield wipers are ON for more than 3 s. Climate Control Voltage Boost Mode Request is true, as sensed by the HVAC control module via serial data. High speed cooling fan, rear defogger, and HVAC high speed blower operation can cause the BCM to enter the Charge Mode. The estimated battery temperature is less than 0°C (32°F). Battery State of Charge is less than 80%. Vehicle speed is greater than 145 km/h (90 mph) A current sensor malfunction exists. System voltage is determined to be below 12.56 V When any one of these conditions is met, the system will set targeted generator output voltage to a charging voltage between 13.9–15.5 V, depending on the battery state of charge and estimated battery temperature.   Fuel Economy Mode The BCM will enter Fuel Economy Mode when the estimated battery temperature is at least 0°C (32°F) but less than or equal to 80°C (176°F), the calculated battery current is less than 15 A and greater than −8 A, and the battery state-of-charge is greater than or equal to 80%. Its targeted generator output voltage is the open circuit voltage of the battery and can be between 12.5–13.1 V. When fuel economy mode is active, the generator is not charging, only maintaining open circuit battery voltage. The BCM will exit this mode and enter Charge Mode when any of the conditions described above are present.   Headlamp Mode The BCM will enter Headlamp Mode when ever the head lamps are ON (high or low beams). Voltage will be regulated between 13.9–14.5 V.   Start Up Mode When the engine is started the BCM sets a targeted generator output voltage of 14.5 V for 30 s.   Tow/Haul Mode (if applicable) Pressing the Tow/Haul Mode button located on the center stack, the vehicle system voltage is raised and the remote (non-vehicle) battery will be charged. Having the headlamps on will raise the system voltage and if the Tow/Haul button is applied it will not serve any purpose. The voltage is regulated between 13.9-14.5 V.      
    • Hello from Australia Just sharing that there is now a way to delete the active shutters entirely with just a plug in module. Opens up tons of room to light bars etc.
    • I have an observation and a question... 1) I watch the voltage closely because I have had to dial in the cut-in/cut-out voltages of the battery separator to my camper.  The "smart" charging drives me nuts.  Anyway, I noticed that when coasting for a while, and especially if lightly using the brakes (though not necessary), the voltage goes up from mid/high-13 volts to mid/high-14 volts.  Then it drops back down after stopping or going again.  Consistently!   The only explanation I can come up with is REGENERATIVE BRAKING!  Well, maybe that's a little bit of an exaggeration, but it's certainly free extra battery charging.   2) Driving on mountain roads I will use L and vary the max gear.  Things straighten out and I end up in L10.  Sometimes I leave it there for a while.  Is there any difference between L10 and D?
