never thought it would actually happen in our country, but I foresee riots in the near future. You can't put people in this kind of situation and not expect people to take desperate measures.

Parents, children, and others struggling daily to gather enough food to eat, stock market crash, and the American economy plummeted.  Thousands of people lost their jobs making it difficult for families to support themselves.  This was the way it was during the Great Depression.  To  my knowledge, we weren't rioting then and there were food lines with the unemployment rate at 25%.  America is further along, what would make us riot now.

Quick question - total deaths in NYC year to date. Bigger in 2019 or 2020?

You're saying because America has more people, a different culture, and we don't know how to feed ourselves that we will be rioting because of what's going on right now.  I don't see it, explain how you forsee riots in the near future because of this.

Most economists are saying that when this ends the economy should bounce back rather quickly. Not sure if that is true...……….

To be blunt overall our society today lacks the overall decency that existed back then. Not all but a vast majority of people do not posses the skills to perform basic survival skills if push really came to shove and there was no store to go to get food from. At this point, people would lose their minds if this internet thing went down.

After seeing people going bat sh$t crazy a few weeks ago over toilet paper. I believe anything is possible. I thought everyone could go at least a few weeks without going to the store. I have hand sanitizer and toilet paper. We haven’t needed to buy any of those since this started. Milk and eggs pretty much it. I feel the craziest stuff is at the store. We learned from hurricane season here. Always stay stocked.

I'll agree with the internet thing, both of us are here right now cause we're not working. But you're not making your justification forseeing riots, you are under estimating the current society..  Yeah I would be highly disappointed if I couldn't get to my grocery store, but I also have a Greenhouse in the back.

This ought be interesting. New York State has surpassed every country in the world except the one it's part of in confirmed cases. More than Italy, More than Spain. Presently they have a fraction of the Italian deaths. But they also have less than half the resolution. New York has managed this on a fraction of the total population.

Not surprising, more testing.  You're the numbers go to guy, I would be disappointed if you didn't hit us with a NY testing graph. You're slipping a little, it was suppose to accompany this post.

I just heard an interesting story on Tucker Carlson. There are hospitals laying off staff. They were ordered to stop elective surgeries for the bug that didn’t appear in their area. One hospital in Oklahoma just has their emergency room open. Hysteria has consequences.
