I want this! But will wait a bit! A little skeptical about these things in a brand new truck!

No other mods.  I've heard that about trucks, but had my '15 and '18 to 135 with no issues, didn't want to press my luck any further though for numerous reasons.  This new truck will seemingly easily do that also, but didn't want to press my luck again, just wanted to see if the limiter was removed.

What’s different about these new driveshafts??  Curious.  I had my 2018 to 130mph numerous times.
Congrats on the Pulsar working for you.  I am hoping with these out the tuning industry will drop the price a bit and I’m going to tune mine in spring. If not, these will have some of the bugs worked out of them hopefully.

They are paper-thin aluminum to save weight and they are not up to the task of pool high RPM operation.  That's why there is a speed limiter in the first place (well, there are other reasons but that's one).

Specs on the truck? Rear ratio, and so on? Mine will be gone soon too.

Crew cab short bed, 6.2 10 speed, 3.23 gears.  All stock.

Have you added a CAI or exhaust yet on your truck?

So, the driveshaft is .004"? Good to know....

The primary speed limiter is the tires speed rating.

The primary speed limiter is the tires speed rating.

And secondary speed limiting factors are the failure thresholds of the other rotating parts.

I suppose all you had to do was youtube silverado driveshaft explosions but that is too much work for some.

Some real good carnage can be found on some dyno runs.

The people that typically know of these failures don't attend forums like this. This more a show of money and complaining forum than it is a performance forum. You start talking about turbo kits, 4L80e segment swaps, HP Tuners, what engines came with I beam rods and H beam rods and you get nothing but a deer in the headlights look.

Point is,

 A) the driveshaft isn't paper thin.

B) the stock speed limiter is set to the rating of the OEM tires that came on it.

C) any other limiting factor is a moot point as those parts are functioning up to/beyond their design specification.
