Am I the only person on this forum who likes loud tires?

Yes. I like that sound. I have Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrains. Too quiet. I don't like overbearing loud exhaust but tire noise, yes. I know. Weird.

Huh? Put your hearing aids in and I bet you won't.

Do they come in 275/65/18?  More info please.  My Trail Boss tires aren't loud enough.  I can still hear myself think.

I didnt think loud tires were an issue until I had them. Personally, I feel like they SUCK!!!  The droning gets extremely annoying for me on any trip over 30 minutes and heaven forbid I have a 8 hour drive for work.  I found myself taking my 20+ year old truck over my brand new truck on those trips just for my own sanity.  A quiet environment is an enjoyable environment for me, but that's just a personal preference and I know some people prefer environments/situations with a lot of background noise, I'm just not one.

I hear you. All my work trucks had KOs on them because they were quite. My latest trip car a CRV on certain gravel blacktops is very annoying. Turn off the radio annoying. There’re getting replaced before the next trip. Every Honda I ever test drove was loud. No I didn’t buy this one. The mother in law quit driving and gave it  to my wife. A 2015 with 6K miles. It’s ok except the road noise.

Time and places.

When I had my ‘86 K30 on 38” tires I loved it but it also had the 6.2L diesel and dual cherry bombs. It wasn’t for being quiet on long highway drives.

Current truck spends 45 minutes on the highway to and from work 3-4 days a week so I’m not about that life any more.
