Seeing a 3.09-3.15 spread. Saw one at 2.75. Could it be it’s going down just before my next trip? That would be a nice change.

I was out on the highway today and the low buck place was $3.15, the truck stop was $3.24, I didn't catch the diesel prices

Filled up the Caddy this am at the new place, still $3.05, every place else is $3.25 or more. Diesel was $3.64 same place

$3.33 for 87 octane.

Paid $2.74 for 88 octane the other day. Almost warm enough to run E85 everyday, no idea what the current price is at the place I get it.

Regular has been dropping about 3 cents each time I fill Dizzy up. Latest ticket reads $3.46 for 87 E-10. On a twelve-point moving average it tipped down about six tanks ago. Officially a trend 😉

We have two stations within my fill range that play nice with E-85 and have it priced as a "Green Fuel" alternative of any vehicle that is flex fuel. The remainder of the greedy knuckleheads have it priced as a "Race Fuel" or about 30% below 93 zero ethanol. :nonod:

Only a handful of stations ever carry UNL88 stating "No one uses it" Well of course not. 😱 They price is 20 cents over 87. Green is not in the DNA of Illinois, but greed is alive and well. Exceptions to stations noted at the beginning of this rant.

Speedway went down a dime to $3.49, most other places around $3.35 RU87, going to fill the truck up now so will see if the new place is still $3.05

What is the purpose of this "gas prices thread?"

No one should be any bit surprised when just about all of the global governments have aligned themselves with staunch anti-energy policies.

Buckle up, buttercups - if you voted for it, you own it, and should be more than thrilled to pay more for everything these days.  The only shame is that this kind of stupidity harms everyone, even those who prefered things to work the other way.

Greed my good man isn't a political issue. It's a moral one. It has no party and no agenda past itself.

The purpose I suppose is that it is a topic all have some interest in and up till now has been non-divisive. Just a place to hang out and offer a comment on conditions in your area. Human interest, fellowship.

OPEC is aligned with their own interests and not aligned with rest of world.

I grew up in Indiana and obviously the education system has deferred to MAGA ignorance of macro economics with that question.
Might want to bone up on energy policy and realize it’s not a world cabal but driven by many world players and the only alignment is $$$ and geo political power.
