GM loses class action lawsuit on AFM/DOD or just a rumor ?

I saw a You Tube video stating GM has lost a Lawsuit concerning the damages caused by the AFM/DOD System that GM has known to damage Lifters / Push Rods / Camshaft and engine failures......any truth to this ?

I mourn the the bastardizing of the mighty GM small block. All in the effort of maybe gaining a couple miles per gallon through the engine. After all that spending tens of millions to produce yet another V-8 engine, I read. All they had to do was continue to make a smaller extended cab my favorite GM choice. Until they discontinued it. Weight reduction would have probably gained them the mileage they sought. Instead of butchering the mighty small block.

I’ve been the winner of two multi million dollar lawsuits. After getting our business to the point we’ve would have been without being damaged by the losing party. Our lawyers made out big. It’s a rigged system.

Rigged for sure. Have an accident and you are forced to get a lawyer and loose 40 % of your money.

Sorry I have a bad disposition for lawyers having dealt with them for years when my Dad was injured on the job.

Corporations and their lawyers will screw the little guy as many of us understand. Why we need realistic regulations to control that miss-applied tort law.  Lawyers are just cogs it's a bigger issue than just a lawyer.

Well IMO the lawyers influence on the system is why we are where we are at. A cog that helped write the laws we deal with.

I agree because as I stated its Corporate Lawyers who are used by corporations supported and owned by the same creepy politicians who want us to believe its a lawyer doing it so we can get mad at them and continue to vote for the same jerks to own us.  MAGA demonstrated you could get a large minority of the country to vote against their own best interest not conservative or liberal but misinformed and stupid anti constitutional wrapped in the flag.

I searched to see if the lawsuit had been settled/resolved and it doesn’t appear that it has been.

All of this butchering of the LS platform was done to gain credits with the Government for economy efforts. I dont believe that GM would have organically come up with this hairbrained scheme to make a super reliable platform into complicated, expensive junk. 

People do not realize how heavy the hand of the Government lies in vehicle manufacturing. Look what theyre doing to the appliance industry.
