well checked mine out and has alot of orange peel . i'm not impressed.. you have to look very close in the sunlight to see it though. well whats the next step...blue granite paint...i bought my truck in the us and have no warranty in canada for 6 months or 7500 miles and then its up to my local dealership if they want to honour the warranty or not.. so we'll see what happens next..

Wow, very interesting post. I did notice some orange peel on my truck, but it hasn't bothered me enough to go to the dealer. Could you run my vin# 3GCEC13J88G192752 . Will the orange peel get worse, or will the lifespan of the paint be shortened if the orange peel is not taken care of? Thanks for taking the time to run our VIN's guys. We really appreciate it.

Looks like your VIN Number should be: 1GCEC19077Z538108......

 

 

 

Your truck is not included with the paint concerns as it is a 2007, so far the 2008s are the only ones with the problem. Yours does have the following, do a search for these either here or in the Tech Wiki, if you cannot locate them, PM me and I will try to repost the information
