Chevy’s Electric Spark and other cool GM stuff at the 2012 LA Auto Show

The 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show has come and gone, and while many automakers are bringing out specialty off-road and performance vehicles, General Motors has opted to embrace the green tech movement even more so than it had with the Volt. The major new car story from Chevrolet was the debut of a pure electric vehicle, but the GM story was not limited to just new cars at the show. A short trip to the lower depths of the convention hall yielded some terrific aftermarket cars, custom rides, and project cars that blend the best of old and new. Together, they paint a picture of a carmaker that is looking toward the future while nurturing its heritage-driven enthusiast base.
