Lol I finally got it finished up. Ended up to be the resistor after all, voltage on the fan isn't what fried it, just defective... oh, and apparently my test light is burned out too

New on here but I have been reading about fan blower issues. 04 Sierra stopped working, replaced blower, resistor, put on new pigtail, replaced dash contols, still nothing. Went to see my cousin who is an engineer and Plymouth motor head. We started at the fuse box testing what was not working 5-6 fuses had no power. When we finally got it traced it was the orange wire up to the ignition switch. Also ABS and brake light came on at this time, check engine light 4x4 light not working. Put in a new ignition switch, the electrical portion not the key cylinder, now all is good and working fine. Hope this may help others with similar issues.
