Drove down to the Tampa area with my buddy to fix his sister's car. Good thing we brought his trailer, cracked radiator on the car. His F150 sure does sag though , he didn't want to use my truck. Easier to see the trailer tires to check on his rebuild of that stuff without the dually in the way. Trailer towed straight and the bearings didn't blow out. Not that I thought they would.

Got my windows tinted Sunday in Daytona, drove back to NY put the Avalance wheels and snow tires on Friday.

Good news is that after putting 3800mi on truck in about 18 days I truly love this truck. :gmc:

Brakes on my sister in laws 2000 Camry today. Wasn't that bad. Rear caliper bracket bolts were a little difficult to get to because of brake line routing.

Just refurbished a 2005 HD cluster that wouldn't shut down when turning truck off. Took a while but found the problem and we have an other happy Silverado owner.

And sold and programmed a remote ( 22733524 ) to a 2008 Buick Allure.

The guy I did the cluster for came back when he saw on the back of my flyer that I also repaired FOBs. So I repaired his FOB and sold and programmed a new one for his truck, now he's a very, very happy Silverado owner. l0l

Well my blower motor is acting up. It decided to quit around 430am this morning. It started working again but definitely time for a new one. Will blower motor number 3 for this truck.

How do you fix that?

Sometimes not easy! This one had a lot of problems including PRND321 display not working. Persistence pays off though but I do have to admit that once in a while I lose a patient.

I have a 2005 Impala SS cluster on the way from Halifax. He said the dealer wanted a ridiculous outrageous $2000 for the cluster just because it has a boost gauge.

460 miles to deliver a camper to SLC, stopped tonight in Cheyenne winds. And looks like road might be closed tomorrow west of Laramie. Maybe I make it Tuesday.

Well, woke up this morning, travel advisory was lifted. Get on I 80 west towards Laramie, it's back on.

53 miles, 1:115 minutes parked in Laramie. No travel advisory West of town.

Replaced my blower motor today in the snow that was nice. Wouldn't mind but the truck is only a 2011. And we are on number 3. Also had to get it at the dealer for 143 dollars that hurt but I need the heater now so couldn't order it from Rock auto for 68.

I HATE I-80 across Wyoming. GRRRRRRRRRR!

Do you sleep in your cab when you are out on a job or do you stop at hotels?

Yep - I white-knuckled across WY on 80 back in '01, in my '72 El Camino pulling a U-Haul trailer. Most stressful 13 hours of my life ... ever. Desert-hardened 10 year old tires are no good in snow, LOL.

Damn, NEFisher - what the hell is going on with the motors? GM getting them straight from red china? WTF!

I finally got the snows on the Volvo this morning - better late than never. The car-eating machine drove by soon after ...
