I own an independent repair shop, If you guys want something specific I have access to both the OE parts side and if I bought enough ACDelco parts that particular month, I will also have access to GMesi (Electronic Service Information). I have already been poking around looking at bulletins and trim parts for the Silverado I have on order. If my dealer won't swap out the fake wood for the metallic trim on the LTZ Z71 I plan to do it myself.

Does anyone know how to remove the Belt Molding on the rear doors of a 2014 Sierra Crew? I am replacing my chrome ones with black ones. Thanks!

Thought I'd post my collection (so far) of 2014 parts diagrams, for those members like me that aren't afraid to pull their trucks apart.

#'s 1 thru 3

Part # for #33

Anyone know the GM Part Number for an OEM windshield for my 2014 Sierra Denali? I unfortunately got a humongous rock chip on the freeway and it's driving me nuts! I got it filled and it still looks bad. Just trying to get a price for it, compared to what my deductible is.

Thanks

EDIT*

I believe I've found the GM Part Number, it's # 23129272

Can someone confirm this for me? Find it HARD to believe it's only $254 for a windshield, I was expecting somewhere in the neighborhood of $800-900

I just traded my 2000 on a 2014 Suburban LT 1500 (previously an Enterprise rental) and didn't realize there was no Homelink in the roof console. My foolish mistake. So I picked up a Homelink on the net ... checked it and it works fine. In the console there are screw stands and mount to fit the Homelink transmitter and I can fit the buttons through the console facia, but I have one problem … the loom feed wiring.

A Homelink has simple connections … a 12v, ground and lighting. I would simply wire it up, but the 2014 has so many damned computers in it, I'm worried about splicing into monitored circuits.

I checked Chevrolet parts and they have no kit pigtail to retrofit a homelink. The female loom feed wiring to the roof console has all pin feeds wired, but the male connector has unused pin locations and I'm thinking these empty pin locations have a dedication for the Homelink, but which ones?

Does anyone have a diagram to the 2014 Suburban roof console wire loom that designates pin connections?

They gave me 1,800 for it … it had 184,000 miles on it but was otherwise in great shape. Actually, my 2000 looked like yours. I wouldn't have sold it, but the deal on the '14 was too good to pass up and I didn't want to go through the headache of trying to sell it.

I did try to get more, but the deal was too good too pass up. It's loaded, 25,500 miles, balance of warranty and certified to 2017. Price with trade was 30,460 before tax and DMV.

I am the parts manager at a Chevrolet dealership. I have someone who will send images but can't answer questions about modifying vehicles. Is it okay to provide the contact information without violating the forum rules?

Haven't been on here for a while.... But I got a nice set of Helms manuals for a Christmas present. Sure wish it was electronic... the pages are very thin; but it definitely has everything included in it.

I appreciate that you guys are willing to provide information. I ended up removing the overhead console to check wires. Three terminals in the feed (13, 14 & 15) are blank … can't tell what they're for. But the console terminal has three unused pin locations that are fed by the harness. Checked them with a multimeter ... pin 1 grnd, pin 2 lights and pin 3 ign switched. Zebrafive ID'd harness pin, manufacturer part #s for this type terminal. I have to order the pins and crimp to Homelink leads, insert into terminal and splice to ground.

I could find only one ground wire in the harness at pin 1 (black). It grounds passenger side sensor switch and overhead lights. I hope attaching Homelink ground to doesn't upset anything … I'll be the first to find out if the airbag pops! LOL

I'd still like to see a diagram of terminal pins 1-16 in the overhead console. If anyone has one, it would really be appreciated.
