Ok guys I'm getting confused on offsets.

I'm going to order wheels and I can't decide on 0mm or 12mm offset, will have a 2.5in level with 295/55/20s.

IS 12mm more in or out?

 

 

The numerically higher the number, the further in the rim is. So comparing 12mm to 0mm offset, the 12mm will not stick out as much (this holds true only if the width is the same on both rims)

I'm trying to sell my 17" xd hoss rims and cooper atp tires my offset is +12 and i want more offset so I'm going to a 0 offset , but can't do so until i can sell my current setup if anyone is interested

Factory 20's are +27mm so either will stick out further than stock. To clear the 295's against the control arms you need a minimum +18mm offset. I'd personally go with the +12's unless you want to be wider than your fenders.

 

"0 offset" means the hub face is exactly in the center of the wheel. The more positive the number the further in the wheels are tucked, less positive or even negative offset sticks the wheels out away from the vehicle.

Yes you can use a Hypertech Programmer to recalibrate your speedo, along with several other changes as well.

From the pics I've seen the 0mm gets the tires about .25" outside the fender

it looks great.... want to get these so bad and also want to take out stock 1.25" block in back and put a 3" block in its place (1.75" lift) so I retain some of the stock rake with a little lifted look.

For those of you with 1.5-2" of level, what max diameter tire are you able to clear? I'm thinking 34" would be the max limit with trimming, 33 with little to no trimming, and 32.5 with no trimming.

 

As for thickness i think with stock offset 11.5 is going to be max.

 

I found 295/60/20 Trail Graps for 260$ a tire new. Incredible price honestly.
