black08 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Will this set up rub the sway bar? Here are 2 pictures with the Rough Country 2" Level with Bilstein front adjustable shocks set on the lowest setting. BFG All-terrain 305/65/18 Edited January 23, 2016 by black 08
dp2826 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Bilstein 5100's are in my truck! I think they look awesome and the ride is so much better than stock. With my old shocks, I'd get a jarring feeling when I'd hit a pothole or sharp bump in the road. The 5100's definitely smoothed that feeling out. I really need to get them on the rear now. I will post pics and measurements when I get a chance. On stock tires the front measurements were 36-1/4" and 36-5/8" before 5100's. What setting did you go with on your shocks?
Yamiryder Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Hey guys, I've been contemplating what size wheel and tire to put on my 2015 Silverado. I have a RC 2.5 leveling kit but im scared to get a tire and have to trim a lot. I want to put a 20x10 with a -24 offset and either a 305/55r20 or 285/55r20 BF Goodrich Ko2. Can someone give me some advice on which one to go with? have you thought about a 305/50/20 or maybe a 295/55/20?

SilverBullet83 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 have you thought about a 305/50/20 or maybe a 295/55/20? I have, but the that tire only comes in the 285/55 and 305/55, I have seen posts on custom offsets where people have fit bigger tires on that wheel but i dont know if i can trust that.

Personally, i like the General Grabber AT2 over the BFG, but i didnt check what sizes they offer. May want to look into Nitto Terra grapplers or Toyo Open Country AT's. I have Nitto's and am happy with them.

Csjumper2003 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Hey geswek. Which level it did you use. Any track addition or still stock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
geswek Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Hey geswek. Which level it did you use. Any track addition or still stock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I went with Motofab 2" block under strut--nothing more; still on stock Z71 Rancho shocks. Rides just like it did before lift--rigid enough that I enjoy it.
WillDiet Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Ok; so mark the 12-o'clock and then rotate it clockwise one whole turn? Clockwise lowers and counter-clockwise raises? That's what I did and I don't seem to be blinding people now. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Clocked92 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 What setting did you go with on your shocks? I went with max height setting on the shocks. Measurements are as follows: Before Lift Front left = 36.25" Front Right = 36.625" After lift Front left = 38.25" Front Right = 38.5" This is still with factory Goodyear SRA tires. I will be adding BFG KO2 275/60R20 in the next week or so which should add another 1/2" to those heights.
p7m89mm Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Finally got mine clean. Readylift 2.25", Method NV 17x8.5 0 offset, Duratrac 285/70/17. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
