Yeah Im not sure how fast yours is, but when scrolling through artists it does get kinda slow for me. How big is yours?

Mine doesn't delay when scrolling at all. But my card is only 8gb. What I learned.. don't get a SD card any bigger than you need. That is a lot of "extra" space the system needs to look through.

If you have 15gb of music, only get a 16gb card - not a 32gb, or 64gb,

Yeah mines full. like it had 59 gb available, and i put 55 gb on it. Its just a lot to search through, so i don't blame it for being a bit slow.

yes.. you are taxing that system... that's a ton of data to work through... if it's bad... you could try to break it down by genre into 3 or 4 seperate smaller SD cards.

It's manageable. I really don;t mind it as i'm not scrolling through it constantly anyway

What I found out is get the fastest sd card you can find. The faster the card is the smoother it plays and scrolls. At first I put in the SD card from my game camera it actually shut down the system. Anyway hope this helps.

I have a Silverado LTZ the voice recognition is the worst I have ever seen. I can use my droid phone in call or navigation and it understands everything or at least gives me options that are very close no way with the VR in the new Silverado. I wanted a hands free option for safety very very disappointed

MyLink is slow... tuning between stations or anything... takes so long. Must have too many bells and whistles for the processor.

If they used a processor from this decade, or even the last decade, it would be fine. I HAS to be a software issue..... I really hope so anyway

I know the video option is only for trucks with the flip down video system in the back, but I don't know if it will read and let you watch videos from a SD card or hard drive without it. If it does I would like to know as well!

Any Silverado 8" MyLink should play video. My LT does.

I have the same MyLink lagging as with my SLE non navi system, it's beyond frustrating...

I also have been using my iPhone via USB/Bluetooth and a 1TB passport hard drive via USB but have only been able to access the songs/files from the steering wheel/gauge screen from time to time.

Also, at random times MyLink will shut down with no warning and just restart out of no where like a reboot of the whole system (music stops and reboots then starts back up)

My dealer could not replicate this because of how erratic the problem is but the lagging as is there 100% of the time. I will post a vid very soon. This is not acceptable for a $52k truck...
