I was pulling my boat today and stopped on an incline up hill. When I took my foot off the brake the display showed some message along the lines of hill assist start active. It preventing the truck from rolling backwards after i took my foot off the brake and without hitting the gas. It only does it for a few seconds then stopped. Pretty helpful feature.

yup. Truck come with 2 years free oil change so use it.

my servicing dealer is saying only if life meter is at 20% or lower. I am going to switch to full synthetic after the break in change anyways so wont feel bad going 6000 miles but no way I am pushing it to the 20% because the computer said it was ok lol.

to hell with that. Hopefully they will cover it but if not, ive paid for oil changes for years, Im ok with that

Trick I found a lil while back is that change slips perfectly under the crack of the cup holders in the center counsel storage area! i dunno why but this made me so happy

I have tried folding my mirrors in by the remote but it does not work...The only way I can fold them in, is to press the button on the inside of the door before I get out??

 

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem on the SLE all terrain. I have folding mirrors but there is no setting work with the Key FOB.

Also when going down a long grade where the truck will speed up on its own you hit the brakes a couple of times and the truck will keep you at the speed you slow down at. It down shifts the trans and will hold you.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but the radio seems to record. If you miss something you can "rewind" the live radio using the onscreen arrows and listen again. I thought those arrows were for changing the station. I think this is an awesome feature! GM with their incredible thinking came up with different levels of the DIC. There is a base level and an up level. Absolutely horrible and quite bullshit IMO. I have a SLT w/ the base level. No setting changes. No adding screens. No live fuel economy.

 

All little things, but I never experienced this with Ram. Shit, my 2012 F550 XL gives live fuel economy.

I have an LT and I have all the information you have to go to info and add the pages, they are not there by default. Only one i have not played with is the contact but I am sure it is under the phone somewhere, when I get my truck back I am going to look and see.

Cant remember exactly how but this did work!!

Happened up on it by accident !

You can tag a song on radio and next time an ipod or next device is plugged to or paired with it will store song in your song list. It may be possible that it has to physically be plugged in USB port to do this as I havnt really tried very hard to fig this out but I did delete the WakaFlaka shit off my phone after I tagged it and noticed it on my Iphone4s the next day!!

 

Also in case anyone wants to race and power brake the truck! Always turn off t/c button because this feature will reduce power if you try to brake torque engine or stall engine up at all! Kinda a no brainer but jst FYI!!!

From the radio screen hit the menu button and one of the options is "Tag Song". I wish there was a button on the main radio screen instead of in a sub-menu.

Yea I was told they will only change it when it's under 20%.
