2014+ Exhaust Systems & Mufflers

Recommended Posts

For welding a muffler in stock piping, a straight pipe or Carven R will be the loudest and both sound really good while removing the resonator and valve. If you want the loudest complete catback, the metal mulisha is the loudest of them all I believe.

Loudest muffler for 2016 sierra 5.3 with 3" stock exit exhaust? I've heard dynomax bullets, flowmaster 10 and slp loudmouth would be the loudest. Anyone have any reviews?

Not really a review, but here's a short video clip of the Flowmaster 10 single side exit. To get the true sound, use HEADPHONES and turn UP the VOLUME.

I like the sound a lot.

It drones, it's loud, possibly obnoxious. Perfect for me.

What tips are those?

They've actually changed the design a little since I bought these back in '14, but basically the same thing. Installed/welded by local exhaust shop.

I have a dynomax bullet dumped just over the axle. at idle it's not very loud, even under light throttle its not bad. however at WOT it SCREAMS, keep in mind this is on a 6.2

Guys I'm curious. I'm looking at the Jones or aeroturbine at3030. My goal is a semi loud exhaust. Not annoying or racy but gutsy. I've listened to a few clips and I think it sounds good. A few ?s though..... Will adding a muffler do anything to my warranty. I assume any any exhaust work needed will be void but anything else. Also I know removing the resonator can give the helicopter sound which I have read isn't that annoying plus I drive in m4 or m5 unless on the highway. So given that curious if I should remove the resonator or not.
