I know this has been covered, but what are the bulb types for fog light replacement, if i wanted to keep factory housings with LED bulbs?

PS24W, H16, 9009, & 5202, Different #'s, but are all the same size bulbs.

I have some Putco 6000k in mine. They are H16.

Check these out. I attached a pic and a link. It's part of Rigid's series for air craft. They measure exactly 4.25". I think these can be installed in the factory opening without no cutting. It would still need some type of bracket. You can get it in two different light patterns and different lumens. The link is their catalog. Go to page 57.

That's what I installed love them and very little to modify

What LEDs did you guys go with from Rigid for your fogs? Dually, D2? Spot, Flood, or Diffused? What made you decide on it? How is the match with 5k HIDs? Trying to figure out what I'm gonna go with before I put my order in.

The fog lights on the Sierra and Silverado are not even close to the same, therefore the rigid mount is never going to work. It's not a hard custom mount at all, plus you can go 4 instead of 2 :)

Nice look...."all milkshaked out" (as opposed to "all blacked out" ) :P

Rigid emailed me today they will have a DOT street legal LED fog lamp launching Dec10. These will fit in the stock location.

That would've been nice to know about a few months ago when I got my rigid driving lights haha. Maybe someone on here will get these and post up pics of the output and give us some reviews.

Im pretty sure I will be getting these I would assume price will be around 200 like other D series lights and as long as the beam is a wide pattern. I was about to go with the Putco Luminex LED direct fit but its more a straight forward beam and no side illumination.

I heard its supposed to be around $300-400. Could be wrong though.

EDIT!!:: I stand corrected. I just rechecked rigid's website and I saw that they are currently set at $279.99 for the pair! Pretty good price for something that legal for on road use. I might just end up switching mine out and maybe put the driving lights somewhere else. Maybe on my bulb bar or get the T-Rex hood mounts and put them there. We shall see.

Price wise, 300-400 would be on par with the D2 Driving set I just purchased but my truck won't be here until mid Dec so hopefully we'll get some beam pics soon.
