New muffler, removed the old flowmaster and installed a spintech pro street 6000 3"center in 3"offset out and ran a 3" pipe, removing the resonator and ending with a black tip 3" in to 4" out. Also installed the hellwig spring helpers. Oh yes one more thing, since my back wheels were off I removed 2 copper rings on 2 of the bolts. According to the forums this will help reduce vibration, not that I have much.

on the pics it looks like little thread but they still got about half. Only 40k on them. That's the reason I got them, they will sure help when carrying the big barrel of water, generator and tools.

Well... to me it sounds so much better then the flowmaster super 40 I had. So you can imagine how it sounds on a v8. The flowmaster I could barely hear it even on hard acceleration. Could be the resonator made some difference but I wouldn't know. This spintech sounds good on idle, and just barely tapping the accelerator and you can hear it roar like a mean v6. Plus I no longer have a loud drone or helicopters chasing me. This thing is quiet on cruise

Debated on the muffler, almost went with same one, but picked the 3" in 2 1/2" dual out. Can't wait for install on Thursday. Glad you like it so far

Had the same spintech on my 02, sounded really good I thought, but then I cut my exhaust off for the last 6 months of ownership and ran straight pipe (with cats). Loved that sound even more lol

I'm a big spintech fan, had them on my GTO duals and sounded mean.
