Looks great man. Can't wait to see the rest of the grill done

I had to bake the headlight to get it open and then install the Klearz lens. I did it at 235* for 18 mins. Put it in for 8-10 mins for a reheat when it started to harden up and I was scared to crack something. Lol.

I had blackouts on my first car and it was a pain to see. Everything I do now doesn't hinder the lighting output. That's why I went with the clear instead of the smoke. It's just personal preference.

Getting them separated was the hardest part, which wasn't as hard as it was nervousness.

On the inside of the lens you can see 2 small torx screws. Remove them and the black will separate from the clear lens.

You can see where they are plastic welded. I used a dremel and just removed the melted plastic to where the amber lens would just pop off.

Make sure to epoxy the Klearz in place on the backside and you're good to go! I put it on both sides of the lens just to be safe.

So how do you access the front camera? Also this doesn't come with the front camera you used correct?

Looking at this or one other option for adding a front camera.

well today I finally got around to doing my 1.5" MOTOFAB leveling kit and my MAGNUM rack came in too!!! The leveling kit was installed by a local shop and looks great! im very happy i didnt go with the 2" kit. the truck sits almost dead level in person but i want to measure it out. I may go with 1" lift blocks in the rear to keep a slight bit a rake since i like that look.

next up was my MAGNUM rack!! so please with the fit finish and quality! great product and super easy to install! dont waste your money paying a shop to do it! took me 30 mins and thats be uase i went slow under the truck running the wire harness neatly!

where did you get the rack from?

How the heck did you manage to rub through the rubber!?

You should see how beat up my old one is. I bought the truck used with only 17k miles. The fob was completely destroyed like the previous owner used pliers on it. I think they used too soft of rubber on the pad. Feels nice but has zero durability.

Decided I'd finally change my key fob internals to a new one I purchased on eBay. $45 and just about every tab broken later and I have a brand new fob lol. Nothing a dab or 2 of superglue couldn't fix.

Yea mine are beat up too and I have always babied them. Never in my pocket with other keys etc... Weak rubbers - the kind that can get you in trouble!

Anyway, Mike you say you broke some tabs separating them - any pointers on how you may be able to separate them without breaking anything?

Thanks in advance.

No real pointers seeing as how I broke all but 1 tab [emoji28] but honestly if you just use some blue loctite when you put the chrome covers back on, just a dab incase you want to pry them off again at a later time for whatever reason. Then you'll be fine. That's what I did and they won't budge.

    • So you're saying toss the baby out with the bathwater? @txab posted article was her take on how AI can be used to manipulate pricing as it already does and has been rebuked by the judiciasry in housing. How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.
    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
