Just made an order for some Amsoil SS. It'll be the first oil change in my '14 Chevy LTZ 6.2L with only 43k on it. The dude that had it before me was running Castrol Synthetic, I'm sure it'll be happier after the change.

Ok I need some help taping into my DRL to power some halo rings. Anyone know what and where to tap into to get this accomplished? Or have a link to a topic on this already? I have 14 Sierra Denali . Thanks in advance

Well, I do know for a fact that it does cancel road noise, as well as the rest of the benefits you mention. No, I don't have laboratory proof to post on hand, but, I have been part of the testing in the past and can tell you it cancel road noise. If you look back at my post where I mention the me Dodge I used to own, it gives you the idea.

I can't go into too many specifics about any certain automaker, or vehicle, as some of the legal paper with I had to sign is still in effect.

The next thing to go after is how transparent the glass is, but that would be going off topic.

I agree that it quiets the noise .... as far as glass .. I remember the Buick Rainer came out they laminated plastic between the front door glass to make it a quieter cabin.

Have a good day all!

This past Saturday, me and my truck were in the Strawberry Festival Parade in Pasadena TX. I was the safety/water vehicle for my son's high school marching band.

Had to get the truck rebalanced again due to heavy vibrations. Apparently the guy at the tire shop a couple of weeks ago didn't bother to remove the previous wheel weights. Went to another shop and a couple of wheels had 9-10 ounces of weights staggered all about. Tech removed all weights actually dismounted and remounted 1 tire and high speed balanced every wheel and tire. Ride is smooth again and I didn't mind leaving the tech a good tip.

ive done waaaay too much research on it as well. The consensus thus far is to steer clear of water based and use the rustoleum "professional" floor kit. I will be buying it this week for my new house. If that works out in the 2.5 car garage, i'll end up doing the 30x40 concrete floor in the pole barn as well.

Please LMK if you find anything else out about epoxy as my brain is now mush.

AS you know, prep is key. degrease, scrub, powerwash, etch.

good luck

I did my garage about two months ago with the rustoleum professional kit.. actually I had to wind up buying 3 kits. So far so good. It has a very nice gloss to it and have had my vehicles in and out and all the paint is sticking down with no issues. Wish I would have done this years ago, this makes cleaning up the floor a breeze when your out there working and now my little guy can be out in the garage with me rolling his toy trucks around without getting dirty and getting me yelled at by the wife lol.

And this is how crappy my floor was before...

My garage is 28x26 ...I wound up using 2 and a half kits. Put it on pretty thick I guess. And I also purchased extra bags of the paint" flakes " to throw in there. I bought my kits from Home Depot.

Just got the driveway finally finished being poured today. It ended up being 58 yards total. Now to get on the furnace, insulation, then the floor...
