Picked up a set of DL3 mirrors off Craigslist for a pretty good deal. Can't wait to get them installed.

If you don't mind can you let me know how much you paid for those? (I have a set with the harnesses from a brand new 2017 but I'm not sure what to ask for them). Thanks and PM would be fine if you don't care to mention here.

I take that back. I got my gauge cluster today and threw that in. Took me all of 10 minutes. Hardest part was flipping the plug around like a usb end.image.thumb.png.52e58e3bc40416fea5903a47cd918365.png

Woahhhh, that thing looks super nice! May I ask what kind of cluster that is and how can I get it in my 16’?

I suggest you email @GTPprix here http://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=1%3Asales&catid=12%3Acontacts&Itemid=56.

He only accepts emails on the weekends between those times. You'll have to search ebay for gauge clusters that will work. I think on the 16s you have quite a few options, from denali sierras, yukons, tahoes, and possibly suburbans. Theres a thread on it here as well about swapping a denali cluster into our trucks.

It will work with non dvd headunits (I have the IOB 7" with no cd or dvd) however the drag is it requires an expensive interface module to play video and display the cd menu on the screen. Unfortunately after numerous messages I never received a reply from either of the vendors here that sell modules/do reprogramming but I was able to find it direct from the manufacturer in S. Korea (Navitech) and will only have audio via the auxiliary input until it arrives. BTW, the module is also set up for front/side cameras as well as has 2 audio/video inputs and can be set up for hdmi input (I'm having mine programmed to mirror my phone as well as allow me to install an Amazon Firestick or similar device which requires in truck Wifi or phone tethering).

I’m also interested in your results.  Please keep us posted

Finally got around to installing my XenonDepot Extreme LED Pro low beams and fogs. Haven’t been able to test them during driving at night, but the color is so much better. Excited to see how well they light up the road.

I appreciate it. With the time change I should be able to get some on the way home tonight.

I'm looking forward to the night pics.  I'm trying to decide between LasFit and Xenon Depot.  I keep reading that the LasFit is too bright in the fog lights, and I'm looking for an LED that won't break the bank (Morimoto) that is better than stock.  Read another guy that said don't go over 5000k color?  No idea why, as I thought it was the lumens that make everything brighter.

It didn’t get dark until I got home, tried to get a few in the neighborhood. These are very bright. The image not in the neighborhood are the stock lights on a backroad. Sorry the pictures aren’t great.

Blacked out the front and rear bowties. Went with the eBay vinyl. Mixed reviews on the mod. My wife's came out really well a year ago. Seems like the seller has went with a cheaper vinyl now. Plan on upgrading to replacement bowties in a couple weeks.

I have a OEM black bowtie that came with the lighted front bowtie, I'll get rid of it for the price of shipping.

LOL you were fine man!!! :) Glad you're happy it looks great!! As to the OP's question no dealers cannot flash for retrofits of different style clusters, we do this for dealers all over the world.

Does anybody know any other way to get a hold of Chris?  I know he is busy but I have emailed him twice during weekend business hours and haven't heard back.  I am interested in this mod.

    • The "source" a woman, that writes the article is not a far right person. She's pretty well known "car person". She writes her own stuff, but yes it is initially posted under the Blaze, because they purchased the right to post it first, before it is posted on her own sites. It doesn't mean the info is any less valid. the article itself is not political It's not meant to discount any current actions in the Iran   Only posted the link because that's what has to be done to be legal to post the article. The Blaze is not a site I use. Lauren Fix's page pointed me there and I have to use a bypass method to look at the article since I'm not about to join the site. I've posted articles over the years from the Lefty sites, seems you didn't have a problem with that.   But you do you, keep looking at everything only through left/right lenses.   The 3 or 4 of you that participate in the some of the comments had ample chance to read everything. Other members that don't care for it, send in comments, because as they will point out, political talk is discouraged. Both "sides" complain
    • Would be cool if someone made something most people would like.   Like a plug in tune that is to the end users desire minus messing with the throttle petal factory settings. Sport, economy and WFOT.
    • I don’t. The source is a far-right fake news site perpetuated by Glenn Beck. Funny how you clean up political posts and then regurgitate garbage from politically tainted sites.
    • Not a distraction. You miss the point of the article. It's not just for today's situation. Another way AI is being used and it may explain some of the prices changes when there is no apparent event to cause a 25 cent jump out of nowhere, only to immediately, the next day, begin to drop by 2 cents and so on. These situations were happening before the Iran thing fired off.   I used to be in the retail gas/service business. Pretty much a $1 increase in WTI would increase my price by maybe .10 cents. Now WTI can go down and retailers can get hit with a .35 cent increase out of nowhere.   I thought it was interesting read, since this is being used on all products we buy now
