Where did you mount the light? Did you mount it on the small lip of the bumper cover or on the metal face of the bed? I got one for Christmas and am in the process and wanted it to be visible easily. On the small lip of the bumper cover would be easiest but not sure how well it would stay in place.

Changed oil and filter. Pulled a gallon of old trans fluid and put a new gallon in. Changed the cabin air filter. Installed the Opt7 Redline Triple LED Tailgate Bar.

I mounted it on the bed face below the tailgate. It was a little difficult to get into position, I even dropped it behind the bumper for a minute. I eventually got it where I wanted it, and peeled the backing off slowly and pushed it down across the width of the opening. Overall it came out great, but I'm not sure how well it will stick if it is cold where you live.

 

Might be overkill, but here is the spot where its supposed to go.

 

Don't mount it too high or low so that the bumper or tailgate cover the leds.

Got some tires installed today:  BFG KO2 275/65-R20 (on 2.5" leveling kit).

 

Fenders measure 40.5" in rear (stock block) and 39.5" in front - In case anyone is wondering.

Got a chevy brake light hitch cover. Looks nice at night when trucks running and braking.
I should probably wrap the wires in black electrical tape to hide them better lol

I have mine on the small lip of the bumper cover for the last 2.5 years . NO problem. Yes it get cold in Wis.  ( putco - Blade Tailgate Light Bar )

Finally did the muffler delete. Replaced the muffler and flapper with straight pipe. Left the resonator alone. LOVE the new setup. Sounds like a V8 should. V4 is noticeable but I already drive in M5 around town and plan to get a range or just tune it. 

 

Best part? Local muffler shop charged me $59 and it took all of 20 minutes.
