What have you done to your K2 today?

Well I just put on my Bilstein 5100's, RC 2" blocks. I have the rims coming tomorrow and have to decide on Ridge Grapplers or Toyo AT2's.

Went to the leather appointed dash trim pad. Done a bunch of them. It was time to do mine. To me it’s a huge difference. Still need to get my hands on the cluster visor.

The AT2's are hard to beat.... But the ridge graps do. The ride great, perform great, are quiet, and will last as long as you run the right psi and rotate. I have 20k on mine and still have 75% left.

I want to do the Denali cluster myself, but I'm holding out for the blue-lighted one.  Problem is, I'm having zero luck finding one for a 2017.  Does the red color not matching bother you?  I'm too OCD to have stuff not match!

It doesn’t bother me. I’m actually thinking about getting the GMC radio controls and just swapping the screen over to keep the mylink but all the button colors would be red

Literally I’ve been modifying my truck to the LTZ features, I’m sure a lot a people will say”waste of time and money, just get an LTZ” but to me is more than that., the sense of accomplishment is what drives me to do this kind of mods. Next mod will be be adding the RSE roof screen..[emoji41]

Viktorrocks15 lives in Dallas . He’s only allowed one “Phil assisted” mod per month . LOL. I had the opportunity to work on his truck and get his cooled seats to work. One of these days, we’ll both have some free time and get the heated portion of the seats working.

Viktorrocks15 lives in Dallas [emoji4]. He’s only allowed one “Phil assisted” mod per month [emoji4]. LOL. I had the opportunity to work on his truck and get his cooled seats to work. One of these days, we’ll both have some free time and get the heated portion of the seats working.

why don't you just change out the surface mount LEDs on your dash cluster - it's not hard.  i did that on mine and the results were fantastic....  and i had zero soldering experience before attempting this (i actually had to go buy a soldering iron/gun!   ha!)

 

here is my stock dash...

 

added an inlay from usspeedo.com.....

 

pulled the dash cluster and changed surface mount LEDs to blue...

 

and the final product....

 

i absolutely love the dash - i think it looks really good

 

the surface mount LEDs were from oznium.com....  https://www.oznium.com/plcc-2

**order some extra... i'm glad i did  (like i said earlier... i had never done anything like this before but i got the hang of it pretty quick!)

Got around to getting my light bar in. It's a 32" hyper series, 180w cree, with 3D optics.

 

pictures  don't do this thing justice - it travels 7-800'. It's hard to get good ones to display the actual output

 

 

 

Edit: don't know why the order is messed up but pic 1 is with the bar and headlights with fogs, pic 4 is headlights and fogs only. The phone wouldn't focus well

I’ve had both and don’t have anything bad to say about either tire. Both perform well in rain and snow. With that being said i feel the Ridge Grapplers are the better looking tire.

@bc-chris Looks great man! Soldering isn't that hard as long as you're using the right tools for the job and right temp. Like everything just takes practice. Results really speak for themselves. That Volbeat album is great too. Saw them live with Metallica last year, they killed it.
