What have you done to your K2 today?

Replaced the front struts with Gabriel ready struts and rear shocks with KYB Gas A Just units... 47k miles on the ODO and those OEM units were all shot.... These new ones ride much nicer and the pre-loaded struts made install a piece of cake.

 

Local Chevy dealer wanted $800 to install the same OEM carp that came on the truck and a couple of local shops wanted $8-900 t install comparable stuff to what I got from Rock Auto for $350 shipped... Total time to install was about 3-1/2 hours with the help of my Dad.

Summit racing by me has the GMC calipers without rotors for $1500 for a scratch and dent return.

Finished up the door moldings and wrapped the front bow tie. The plan is a color matched grill, bow tie, mirror caps and door handles. Finalized with black window trim.

Better late than never on my diff cover install!

Overall very happy with how the cover looks and the ease of the install!

added three tiny red LEDs above the license plate.

 

i used these:  LED bolts  and got power from the license plate lights  (so these will only come on when the headlights turn on)

look's good . did you used them on your grill also ?? or did I see it on some other truck ???
