I installed my birthday present from the girlfriend this past Sunday. Looks good, but thought it'd be a little bit brighter, but I'm good with it.

Just got my truck leveled. I have the Eibach Pro Truck lift kit. New shocks all around with there new coils in the front as well. I have it set on the bottom notch on the front shock and that gives a 2.5" level.

To go with it I have a set of Kryptonite UCAs as well. Rides great so far. Everything is already grimey with road salt in the new pics since we just got some snow/ice yesterday.

Now I have to get some wheels and tires to finish it off. Thinking 295/70/17 on some methodsc2339e82949d808c5fce90a8945f6620.jpg82130c885dcb7dae55c68126a09d7a26.jpg7e11c2b0296ac15eb5c426304c2ecb3e.jpg

Looks awesome! Similar setup to what I am contemplating. How are your angles and ride quality? Thanks!

If you’re anything like me and don’t like small tires, go with 285/75/17 on methods. I started with 295/70 and they looked great when I first got them, but now that they’re at half tread I can’t unsee them being “too small” and I wish I would’ve gone bigger and trimmed a little bit more

I was thinking about doing the 285/75s but I can only find a few guys running them and there arent as many tire options. I think i can fit them no problem with stock wheels but not sure how the fitment will be with 0 offset wheels.

Only had it a few days so take it with a grain of salt but I really like it so far. Noticeably better than stock ranchos with only 35k miles in my opinion. You still feel things in the road but when you hit a bump or pothole it doesn't feel like the truck bounces as much. Maybe its the new firmer springs or better damping but it feels like braking/acceleration are better as well, I think it may have to do with the truck not shifting as much weight around.

As far as angles I haven't really got under the truck to get a good look yet as its been cold/snowy here. When I do Ill give an update.

I’ve seen it done with Bfg ko2s before on 0 offset. I’m running 0 offset as well and the 295s really only needed the plastic piece on the wheel well trimmed down a tad and the liner pulled back. 285/75 is about .7” bigger (if going off of the website) so shouldn’t need much more trimming than a 295, but looks to fill out the wheel well more.

There’s a guy on here running 285/75 ko2s on just a bilstein 1.8” leveling kit on 0 offset methods and he didn’t have to trim much. I’ll definitely be going with 285/75 next go round. Here’s a pic of my truck with the 295s for reference

I just had to change mine on Monday. Factory battery lasted just under 5 years. Not bad.

Here in Cali your lucky if a battery last's the typical 3yr warranty period, mine was still good but I never like to chance it.  when I did mine i had to reset the tpms and recalibrate the compass, radio preset's. the time came up automatically

had to pull the two brackets and the reservoir had to be unbolted and moved just to get the old battery out, plus the wires there is a quick connect one on the passenger side of the battery and one bolted on, once those are off you can push all the wires on the otherside out of the way. The new battery is the same size it just has more cca and is agm

Everyday driving not much of a difference.   I do feel less chatter and the truck feels a little more planted on the road.  I did take it on some dirt roads this weekend and that'a where you really feel the difference.
