Everyday driving not much of a difference.   I do feel less chatter and the truck feels a little more planted on the road.  I did take it on some dirt roads this weekend and that'a where you really feel the difference.
Right on bud![emoji106][emoji817] its good to hear from folk who drop that coin on king and ion.

Just got my truck leveled. I have the Eibach Pro Truck lift kit. New shocks all around with there new coils in the front as well. I have it set on the bottom notch on the front shock and that gives a 2.5" level.

To go with it I have a set of Kryptonite UCAs as well. Rides great so far. Everything is already grimey with road salt in the new pics since we just got some snow/ice yesterday.

Now I have to get some wheels and tires to finish it off. Thinking 295/70/17 on some methodsc2339e82949d808c5fce90a8945f6620.jpg82130c885dcb7dae55c68126a09d7a26.jpg7e11c2b0296ac15eb5c426304c2ecb3e.jpg

A few months back, I made a whoopsie and backed into a tree. Dented up my bumper a fair amount. Even dented the hitch. Luckily the tailgate was spared from my wrath.

Thought about an insurance claim, but that was $1,000 for my deductible. I figured there had to be a cheaper way.

Found a brand new bumper on carparts.com and finally got it installed yesterday. Minus a very tiny crack on the black plastic(just to the right of the license plate under the spare tire tube) it looks pretty much like OEM. And it only cost me $550ish and about 90 minutes at a buddy’s house on his lift.

Mine was cracked in the same spot, guess you rest your elbow there too, and I got a replacement off eBay really cheap and it looks great. Easy to swap out too, took maybe an hour total, and that was going back and forth for tools and beer. :)

Say what?!

I haven't replaced my OEM battery on my 17, but I did on my 14 and I didn't have to remove the reservoir. Just the brace bar and that junction box thingy on top of the battery.

My 17 is identical in procedure.

I'm not doubting you, I had to stand on an igloo cooler to reach the damn thing and it took some wrasslin, but I don't recall the reservoir being in the way.

Way more complicated than I'm accustomed to on past Chevy trucks.

Although I've changed a battery in a Cadillac full size sedan that required removing the back seat.
