Yes, it was extremely windy in IL today. When I saw the preview of your reply it left me wondering if a tree fell on your truck. Glad that wasn’t the case!

No it must have fallen across the road right after I drove through, was in my in laws house for about a minute and came out and saw the tree

Finished up just as it started raining.

I'm going to need a review of how you like those projectors.   Been contemplating upgrading my factory ones to these.

Initial thoughts are, wow these are bright. Factory halogens don't even compare and I can already tell it's gonna take some time to get used to the dramatic cutoff.

After some driving last night, I decided to aim my headlights a bit lower than stock. I just feel bad coming up over a hill or hitting some bumps and my HID's are most definitely blinding oncoming traffic.

Also, I've noticed that right around the cutoff point, the light has a purple color. I really notice it when white road signs light up purple. My bulbs are Morimoto 5500k.

As far as installation, it couldn't have been much easier. Phil from Fastheadlights.com was very helpful and recommended the Hylux ballast over the Morimoto. There is no wiring to the battery and no relay harness. Super easy.

It was a bit time consuming, and the hardest part was cutting open the factory lights, but I took my time and everything turned out great.

Driving down a dark country road with the brights on is just about the coolest thing ever haha.

IMO, the LED fog lights are a must-have when you have headlights this bright.

Hope this helps!

Finally got around to finishing up my Eibach pro truck lift kit install video. This video applies to pretty much any strut/shock replacement. Complete so-able in your garage with the right tools!

Installed these Rigid DOT fogs that have been sitting in the box for over a year. After awhile, I decided that I wasn't a fan of what they'd look like. Recently I said screw it, and worst case I just remove them if i don't like them. These things are bright, and I think the look could grow on me. What I really didn't like was how the kit comes with stainless steel carriage bolts that can be seen behind the light, so I swapped them for black ones. Hopefully they don't rust or I'll have to suck it up and install the stainless ones.ea857745ecff8d2d1e115d61e86cef45.jpg8551a69024d4a6fcffafa979d018b815.jpg93258dcba4de3174c8eb67e5bfbcf500.jpg6b4d01d2495ac6837cd074b589600c11.jpgd07c9c77fa74a8a757f3ed1e3a945fd9.jpg

Looks awesome!  I’m hoping for some time to do some paint correction and put on my cQuartz sometime. Whenever I get some time from detailing customers cars...  lol

The truck rides and handles great! It was worth the money and time to upgrade. I had a block rear shock so it was time to upgrade. The lift is perfect for my daily driver. I went overboard in the past on monotube shocks on my f150 when I installed the ranch’s mt7000’s. These eibachs are a world of difference.

anymore info these pads and rotors?

Bought them from rock auto. Did my fronts for around $95. Will be doing my rears after winter. They perform as good if not better than OEM with the added benefit of the rotors ability to resist rust so they look good behind my wheels still.
