I ordered through Amazon Prime, so it was a piece of cake. I ordered yesterday and they were delivered today. Replacement granted right away and it’ll be delivered Monday. I haven’t even returned the defective one yet.

My husky X-act fit for the front came in. Morons at the factory got the passenger side mat rolled over as they stuck it in the box. No way that is ever laying flat again!

So, I’m now waiting for the new ones to come in on Monday.

You will love them when you get the replacement. I’m very glad I decided the get the huskys instead of the weather tech. I bought WT for my wife’s car and regret it. They aren’t nearly as nice as the X-Act mats.

I've got Husky in my truck and Weather Tech in my DD. The Husky is WAY better IMO. Heavier and hold their shape.

I gave my truck a sad face, about a week ago. Now I have to decide if I wanna replace the bumper with a stock one or an Iron Cross Low Profile Bumper painted body color. It is gonna need a grille, bumper cap, bumper, brackets and both lower trim panels and bug deflector.

Yep, those Chevy mats look great! I have nice mats that came with the truck, but I need 100% coverage of the carpet. I have a habit of resting my left foot right at the edge of my current mats.


I liked that the driver side pins in the Husky are sealed so that my spilled coffee won’t get in the carpet.

And staying on track, what I did to my K2 was getting it dusty and dirty for the grouse opener.

Today the mod that has my attention is the leather wrapped shifter. Can someone post the part number for the leather wrapped shifter that will work a 2014? I have seen some that have the stitching on the front side so it it facing the driver, I do not want that.

Finally reached oil change mileage after a trip yesterday so I could put my Fumoto on.

I had a hard time waiting for the next oil change because I wanted to use my Fumoto valve. I bought about a 3 ft piece of tygon tubing to use with mine so the oil drains right in the pan and I can take the filter off at the same time.

New tail lights came in. So, I installed them. So far, I’m happy. Kinda wish I’d have done the smoked lights instead of black smoked. They’re pretty dark. But they function as they should. I did have a passenger side hyper flash at first, but my truck’s battery was also low(most likely from my dash cam running and not driving it). It does not do this now. Anyway, pics. OEM, resistor placement and final showing. Running lights are hard to see in the sun light though especially with the brake lights on.

 

Edit: took a couple quick snaps at 730pm. You can see the running lights way better than in the mid afternoon sun.

 

Edit 2: The position of the reverse lamps mixed with the license plate lights make the backup camera practically useless in dark settings. Not a deal breaker for me, but may be for others. The road and such doesn’t glow behind the truck like OEM does, but I feel like the lights are very visible from a distance. I didn’t take any pics from a distance but I can should I get time later this week or the weekend.
