It lays over top of your existing wheel and you tuck it in under your trim/controls and stitch it yourself

Installed a heated GMC all terrain steering wheel so I could have heat and red stitching. And also replaced the silver plastic interior pieces with Denali brushed aluminum pieces.

Do you have the part number for the red stitched wheel? My all terrain's wheel is looking rough.

Not today but in the last week, I had my 275/60R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires replaced. I really liked them but they are now discontinued and replaced with AT4W. But it was going to cost $356 per tire plus install and tax. I just couldn't justify that. Instead I went with Atturo Trail Blade ATS tires which had no negative reviews and also a load range rating of 116T XL over the AT4W of 115T SL. This just seemed to be a better choice since I do occasionally tow a toy hauler camper as well as a 7x16 crargo trailer. And the Atturos are less than half the price. So far they give a nice ride on both city streets and highway driving.

Mishimoto trans cooler delivered today.  Hopefully tomorrow I can get it installed.  I had previously installed the Superior Solutions mod.  The Mishimoto kit comes with a something similar to the Superior Solutions kit.  Not sure if there is a reason to replace the Superior Solutions version with the Mishimoto version.   Anyone else that has been in this situation and what did you do?

It's only like a simple 10 minute job. Why not just change it. If you don't like it, you can always go back to it.

Yearly clay bar and wax. Went with Cerakote ceramic sealer this time. Time will tell if it’s any good.

I pulled the trigger and got a DiabLew custom tune for my truck. I have never done this to a vehicle before and was a little intimidated at first, but after doing extensive research on the internet (watching videos, browsing these forums, etc.) I felt it was the best solution for me. My commute threw me into more stop-and-go traffic than normal, and while there was nothing inherently wrong with my truck mechanically, the AFM and transmission was making the drive pretty exhausting.

I am pleasently surprised with the results. It didn't drastically transform the driving experience or anything or "awaken the beast," but it did smooth everything out. Everything feels more stable, which is a great feeling. I don't have to deal with the constant clunking I had previously when stopping and going. I also feel I can confidently overtake someone on the highway where as before I really had to think about it.

I am not done with the process yet as I still need to conduct a WOT log, but wanted to share my current experience with it. I never had any issues with AFM, but having V8 all the time was an extra bonus with the tune and I will admit I like not having the rumble/vibration of V4 mode. I am also hoping this (combined with my cooler trans thermostat) will squeeze some additional life out of my 6L80 as I am still on the original one with 145,000 miles.

I’ve had mine for several years, it’s been great! The WOT log will add even more to the tune catered to your truck.

Like Bobaloo22 above I have had a Diablew tune for quite some time.  I love how much better the trans shift points and the reduction in the accel lag when hitting the pedal.  The only issue with this is that my truck did not come with E85 so I bought the sensor.  Unfortunately Lew will not add the the E85 to the tune because he believes that since the truck did not come with the E85 that the engine components would not be able to handle the change.  My thought is that the trucks that have it have the same engine components so not sure why he has an issue.  Otherwise its great.
