Hi memphistiger02,

I’m glad to hear that you were able to visit the dealership to have the open recall on your vehicle serviced. While visiting the dealership, I understand that the computer shut down causing your vehicle to stay longer than expected. Have you gotten your vehicle back? Are you satisfied with the service? I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance. We will be glad to help!

yes I got it back yesterday. It seems like it is working ok although on the way home I was flipping through my radio presets and they went blank and said it wasnt available. The dealer said that they had to wait to hear back from chevy with a new code, that was why it took over 24 hours to fix.

Isn't there a code in your owners manual somewhere? We changed out the battery in my wife's car last week. stations and nav were blank, asked for code from radio book.

This actually makes me think, does anything know what happens when we disconnect our batteries and the truck resets? Do we get locked out? I never saw a code for my navi any where.

that suck, I've been there. A few years back I had my CTS at the dealership for a software update when they lost power in the middle of flashing causing the ECM to lockup. It was stuck in the bay for 3 day until they were able to get the right person at GM to help them. I got to drive a used CTS-V while mine was down so I didn't complain (much).
