Either will be perfectly fine. I'd go with +14, so they stick out a tad more.

Maybe not as bad as you think, if you haven't corrected your speedometer. 5% bigger tire so if you've went 100 miles according to your odometer, you've really went 105 miles.

Lets say on a 15 gallons of gas you went 300 miles (according to the odometer), the dashboard says 20mpg

But really, with the taller tires you went 315 miles, so you really got 21mpg

That makes total sense!!! Thanks for the post and the information. :loser:

Couldn't seem to locate this information: what is the offset/back spacing on a stock wheel for a 2015 Sierra 1500 all terrain with 20"? What offset/back spacing would I need on an aftermarket wheel to have it stick out a bit further? I'm specifically looking at Fuel Assaults.

Thanks

Josh

20x9 +27 is stock in most cases I believe.

Personally, I think 0 offset is just about perfect. But, everyone likes different looks.

Got em' mounted. Played it safe and went with 285/45R22's in the OE Bridgestone Dueler AT's. Wish they were a little wider but didn't want any rubbing.

Uneven ground in the first picture, the front is NOT higher than the rear

So I have a 2014 Denali 4x4, I am going to change struts/shocks to Bilstein 5100's. I have decided on Dueler AT Revo 2's for rubber, my question is regarding the size, what are your opinions between 275/60R20 vs 275/65R20 with regards to fitment? Will the added weight of the 65's make much of a difference. Changing from GY LS2's 275/55 BTW, thanks in advance.

It seems everyone on this forum says they went with BFG KO2 but I want to look at other options in A 275/65r20. Anyone have any experience with any of the following?

Toyo Open Country AT2 ($1000)

Cooper Discover ST Maxx ($1150)

Cooper discover AT3 ($950)

BFG T/A KO2 ($1180)

I see no need to trim

I had Cooper ST Maxx's before my current Toyo's. I liked the ST Maxx's and would have gotten another set when I upgraded to 33's but couldn't turn down the open country's. The ST Maxx tread is great and looks great. They don't throw nearly as many rocks as an AT tire will. They look tough too.

Agreed 0 offset is perfect on a 9 inch wide rim with these trucks.

After running both would you still go back to ST Maxx or stick with the toyo?

I went with Fuel Beast 0 offset. Puts them out about an inch wider than stock. It does limit you to how wide of a tire you can go with though, unless you do more than a level only. I rub with 275/65/20s. Not horrible but it's still there, so if you want to go with a wider than stock tire keep that in mind
